“Why! Why do you have to go? You promised!” Lana shouted as Ryan’s shadow starts disappearing. Ryan smiles weakly, “it’s because of the...” “the what?” “The prophecy...” With his last breath he couldn’t finish what he had to say. “Nooooooooooooo!!! Ryan! Ryan! Wake up! Please.” Lana cried and screamed.
Suddenly a bright light shone in front of her Lana back away from it, “what... what do you want?! Stay-stay away from me!” The light hovered above her as Lana tried to swat it away but failed to do so. “Lana... do you hate me this much?” The light said softly. “You... you talk??” The light said nothing. But continued hovering above her. “What do you want?” The light circled around her, “no... the question you should be asking is: what do you seek? Power, Revenge, Happiness, Peace or to bring back the dead?” “I... I seek nothing! I don’t need them!” The light swayed left to right, “ I can help you bring back Ryan, but you need to help me.” Lana stared at her, “if you can bring back the dead, there’s nothing you can’t do.” “Oh... but you’re wrong! I need your help here. Come follow me.”
Lana followed the light and saw a place filled with fires, war and famine. “What... what is this? Why do you bring me here!” “Watch!” The light instructed. Lana looked away but something caught her interest a lady was being killed, “please! Let my children live! I-I’ll let you kill me instead! But don’t kill my children!” The guy laughed and snapped his hands and the lady’a head was cut off. “Weak!” Was what he said right after killing her. The children huddled in the corner and said started shaking. The man grinned, “come on out! Or I won’t be so merciful.” The kids pushed each other until a boy fell in front of him “stand up!” The boy started shaking and stood up slowly. “What’s your name!” “Lu...Lucas” “can’t hear you!” “Lucas!” “Pathetic!” Then he killed this kid as well. She rushed forward but the light stopped her, “watch.” “You expect me to watch? You asked me to help! And now you tell me to watch?” The light said nothing. I ignored the light and rushed at the man, “Hey! Let them go! You big-ass!” The man glared at me, “what did you say little lady?” “I said to let them go!” The man licked his lips, “I don’t think you understand the situation here, little girl... I’m feeling merciful and haven’t killed him yet... how about I kill him now?” “Ahhhhhhhh!!!” The boy screamed and started rolling around. “How is this?” The man laughed. Lana felt rage and charged at him with a slap. “You-you dare?!” He gritted his teeth and bared his fangs, “I guess you need me to teach you some manners then!” He roared and lightening cracked everywhere. Lana gulped and looked at the light. It hovered further away and shouted, “you started it your problem! Go solve it on your own! I’ll be cheering for you over here!” Lana frowned oh what is she going to do now?
