Who doesn't hope for a good life? A life with a nice boyfriend, a job and free of tensions everytime. I had just finished my grade 12 and with a 76 percent in science there is no hope anywhere.
Everytime my mom is constantly pestering me where to apply and what to do further in life but till this age everything has been settled by her. I cannot just control my life at the turning point when all my life I have been dancing to her tune.
My father is ignorant or acting as if it will be fine. I will surely get into one of the colleges in the country while my aunts are asking tons of questions to me. I am just a girl who has not yet stepped into the society. I was not given the chance to work part time during my vacations.
Due to my family situation, I also cannot ask for any more money and my father has been remarried and has a son as well as my mother who has a daughter.
these days it is a torture for me. everytime I have to think about my future and I become restlessness. the only thing that as much consoles me is the dramas that I watch which makes me drawn to their world and let out a laugh.
But after that I still have to ponder and think about my measly life. how can I earn money to provide for my family and myself?
Luck is also not in my favour. I have always been at getting my percentage at the 80s from a young age and it had to be like this in my final stage of student Life.
although I am 18, I never had any boyfriend or any sort. I have never even tasted what it feel to be kissed. I have already decided not to marry in this life. After seeing the women in my mother's family with failing marriages I couldn't be bothered to have one myself.
is that all? is that all that I will have in my life? I don't know what the future holds for me but I wish to earn money and not feel so pathetic and bored.
Life is truely boring with a group of friends you don't really know but they are best at cracking jokes. Sometimes I really missed those schools days where I would talked and gossip with my friends. seeing some students rebel against the teachers and pranking one another.
in each grade there is some people who has a knack of bringing out laughter and they make our school days memorable.
