I had a heart disease for years my parents were trying to find me a suitable heart for years
Finally at the age of 17 I found a suitable heart
It was of a girl who had died of breast cancer and wished all of her organs to be donated
The surgery was very successful
The next day of my surgery a nurse came in and gave me a letter
I was confused I opened it and started to read
HI THIS IS YOUR HEART DONNOR BY THE TIME YOU READ THIS LETTER I WILL BE ALREADY DEAD(OBVIOUSLY)
I JUST WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO MY SAPPY STORY
I WAS CALLED ANGEL IT WAS AN IRONY BECAUSE IN MY WHOLE LIFE NOT EVEN A DUST OF HAPPINESS WAS PRESENT
I WAS ALWAYS MISUNDERSTOOD
I HAD NO FRIENDS
I HAD NO LOVE INTERESTS
MY PARENTS WERE DIVORCED
I DONNATED MY ORGANS SO ATLEAST I COULD BE REMEMBERED BY SOMEONE
SO THE ONLY THING I WANT TO SAY IS I HAVE BEEN USEFUL TO SOMEONE FIRST AND LAST TIME

I had tears in my eyes by the time I had read the whole letter I kept my hand on my chest the heart was beating like mad
The original owner of this heart was never happy I wish I could have met her
She sounded like a wonderful girl
But some wishes can never be fulfilled
I just hope that where ever she is she is happier

What will be the name of our little girl asked my husband looking lovingly at our little daughter
"angel" I said without thinking
The heart she had given me had given no problems
I could live my life like an ordinary girl
I had gotten married had a child
But never once had I forgotten the angel my angel who had given me a new life
I still have the letter from my heart donnor in my favourite book
I will never forget her
