He propped down on one knee, and took a breath "Avis!.Will you do me the honor" her eyes wide as pancakes, her mouth agape, and as his heart had stopped, her heart raced as her words few away. The only way she could answer him was to simply nod. But, that was enough for him as he swooped her up into his arms with a ear to ear grin full of joy. "I promise, you're all I'll ever want" her lips just a breath away from his "I better be" she smirked as she went for a passionate kiss. The passerbys all smiled and clapped as the saw the once nervous man, now smiles and laugher.
3 weeks before the wedding
"Mason!" she screamed "what! what is it babe" he dropped it all and came running. "my mother is calling again" he clapped his hand down from the wall "babe, Lily" he wrapped his arms around her waist, his chiseled chin rests upon her neck as he tickles her with the slight touch of his lips. "you'll have to talk to her soon" lily's soft laughter ceased as she looked back at him "you're siding with her" her expression clear states "careful" as he slowly steps back "babe, I'm saying the weddings in 3 weeks" he states cautiously "don't you want your dad there" she eyes turn cold "NO" and without anything further the conversation ended.
Wedding
"Dun dun dun ah dun dun dun ah" the music slows down to a silence "Ladies and gentlemen, we are brought her to..." the priest continues "I OBJECT" the gasps and awes spread through the crowd. As the bride and groom flinch towards the face, Lily's heart sinks as her words escape with their own will "DAD!" she shouts "I object to her not getting married without me here" he finished as he said right in front. The crowds confusion, and panic fade to smiles, while Lily's expression turns as pale and white as a ghost. "Lily? are you alright" lily hearing Mason's voice calms down, "I'm ok" she smiles "just startled" and the ceremony continues on way.
"You may kiss the bride" as Mason leans in with a smile and Lily full of faith and hope in her eyes. They seal it with a kiss. And the two lived for a long time. (sorry kids, who knows if it was happy)
