Moments with them
You thought were precious

Once a joyful girl
Now a broken soul
Like a broken string of pearls
Tears fall down cold
There is still hope
You think once again
Heading for a new goal
Trying to ignore the pain
A hopeless longing
Only brings another mistake
You stare blank pondering
Perhaps this is fate
Abandoned by all
Friends, family and love
What an unexpected fall
Like the devil throwing you a glove
People define you
They are your long lost love
Something that you could choose
Forced to you with a shove
You cannot live without them
Just like water and food
You’d never ever hurt them
Even if they hurt you
Just like Mercutio to Romeo
Quote “Why the devil came you between us?”
Company will never be your foe
Even if they make a fuss
Loyal to the core
You forever will be
Because even if it becomes a chore
They will always be your first priority
I’ll never understand
The things you’ve just said
Cause my land
Everything must be paid
Nothing is free
An ulterior motive is always there
Yourself must be your priority
Time is nothing to be shared
Hence I’ve hardened my heart
To null the pain
Cause when you look at the charts
It’s only them who gains
Everyone is a tool
And a friend is a signed contract
To benefit from one another is cool
And that to us will always be a fact
Author note: Hi, hi!! This story was inspired by kitty and her story ‘Life like hell to me’. The reason why I wrote this was because I couldn’t understand why people meant so much to her.
