it was a regular day like another day .i woke up and gets ready for my school, i had my breakfast and left for my school but something is weird in today's morning.i see weird number in everyone's head . i thought *what are these numbers,i didn't see on my head when I see the mirror.....*i just to ignore them and till now i reached my classroom."hahahahaha"and i heard the laugh of most popular boy in school 'DAVID' ,i saw him and........his number was zero.i was shocked."Anna hurry up mam is here"our teacher came to class i sat on my table but ky eyes are still on that boy and in a blink recess came.i go to my usual place to have lunch but today I was not alone DAVID was here too he was sleeping there or I can say just pretending to sleep. i go to my spot and having my lunch "Are you follwing me?" David asked me " No" i replied."then what are you doing here ""i always eat here ,you only came today...and why did you thought that I was following you" our conversation exceeds. "because I can feel your gaze whole class""that..." i don't know what to say ,but started to ask him questions which can give me a hint that what are these numbers are "can I ask you something?" i asked for permission." Yeah"he replied.
"have someone beaten you" i asked.
" No" he replied.
"Did you kill someone?" i asked again,
"What!!No" he answered.
"Do you cry when fell sad" i asked again,
"Yes, everyone does" he answered sadly.
"Do you laugh" i asked,
"Yes ,did you not hear my laugh" he answered again.
"Are you happy" i asked again and this time....
"........." he was quiet and I think I got that answer i want .
These weird numbers i have been seeing this whole time is nothing but the number of times a person is happy and......
in front of me is a person who always laugh with his classmates and friends but doesn't have a happy moment for himself....
"why are you not happy,you are rich,you have friends,you are topper, everyone loves you ...then why are you not happy"
he didn't said anything but only gave a smile.
"Ding " bell rang
"Time for class of we meet again like this I will tell you" he said and goes down. i was curious to know his answer but only can wait for a moment like this. i also goes to class and then home.
TIME SKIP
Its been one month till that incident but I still didn't get time to met with him. in this one month i always sees him laugh, cracking jokes and having party with his friends .I can't believe that such a cheerful and jolly person doesn't have a happy moment."Today's David and Amelia will be in classroom cleaning duty" as our teacher announced this i was happy that I can finally know the answer and kill my curiosity.i peeked to him but he show no emotions and had only smile on his face as he always has .
he and i are cleaning the room noone said anything i wanted to ask but cannot as i can't get the courage . i thought as his nature he will be the first one to talk to me but nooo he was not saying anything i wanted to know the answer of my question...
i finally muster up the courage and said " are you not going to answer my question " and he looked at me surprisingly" i thought that you forgot me and our conversation" he replied." How can I had my whole month in suspence.... now tell me the answer".
" ok the answer to your question is noone loves me....yes i have friends because I have money ,they always demand money and if i didn't give them they gets angry.......yes I am rich but being rich brings more responsibility i didn't get complement if i won something my parents always say to do more hard work they don't have time for me.......does this give you your answer."
i didn't said anything actually I don't know what to say to him "our work is done here , shall we go and eat something". he was silent for few minutes and then said " yes , let's go"
i can see disappointed in his eyes , may be he wanted me to comfort him. we left the school campus and go to nearby restaurants which is famous among students as have delecious food at affordable price. we sat on a table. "what do you want to eat" i asked him and he replied anything with a pinch of sadness .i can sense from his tone that he was sad .i ordered food and it comes in no time . we started to eat and i again asked him" is it delecious?" he didn't replied and just nod.
we ate our food and it's time to pay his hands goes towards his back pocket and i said " wait le me come from rest room,then we will go". o secretly took my purse and left ......to pay the bill. i paid the bill and came back to get my backpack. "let's go" i said while taking my bag."but bill..." " it's my treat"i said and left the restaurant.
"wait...." he shouted and came running to me . "why did you paid the bill " he asked curiously. "because I want to " i said and smiled as seeing his curious face " but I can pay ....." he said and i cut him" yeah yeah you can but I can also pay" i said while mocking him.
"but let me pay for my food" "i cannot because I want something else " as i said this his face becomes dull. i smile and said "i want to be your friend . so...... David do you want to be my friend" i asked him . he looked at my face and was about to say something when I said " look i don't have any interest in your money and i also don't have any friend may be you can be one..... think and then reply "
i was about to go when he grabbed my hand and said "i want to be your friend" and that moment I can see number one on his head.
This was the happy moment for him .
Days passed we became friends than best friend .we got to same college together.after 6 years of friendship we came in relationship with each other and after 2 years of relationship we got married.
In this whole journey i can see his number to increase day by day and I am happy that I can be a reason to become his happiness.......
