I'm new here and trying to write the first chapter of my novel, but having troubles finding a few interesting scenes to it. It would really help if you could recommend a few details that I can put to make it better. And also, could you tell me your tastes in genre?
It's about a girl that was having a normal, ordinary life in 3022, until her closest friend died, giving her a chance for a new fate. She was sorrowful, but accepted the new destiny.
She now has to survive and cultivate.
