PROLOGUE
It was sixteen years ago. A powerful God-like entity laid waste to the world. I was just a militant during that time, I still had that naïve general to go and provide relief packages to a war-torn country. I was excited because it had been my first time being deployed outside my country
I have always heard of the country named Plito. The country had never known peace. I was 30 years old around that time, and Plito had already been ravaged by war from the day I drew my first breath.
I was the leader of the team. I had already obtained the title of lieutenant and led a specialised team of skilled militants. We were five in total, and we all had unique and indispensable skills that the military could not afford to lose.
My name is Agatha, and I was the leader of Team A, comprised of a bomb expert Astrid, a hothead who enjoyed the thrill of turning everything he placed his eyes on into ash. A beautiful and tenacious ninja assassin turned soldier, Loo-Si. A man who had not realised that chivalry was dead who happened to be a weapon's expert who was raised by a bladesmith, Keith and a very intimidating gothic woman who had incredible psychic abilities and had a specialty for dark magic, Smog and of course I was an expert lumber jack, and my physical strength was second to none. I won't lie, I was a bit bulky and muscular than the average woman, but I didn't care much, because I was essentially married to my job.
PROLOGUE II
A young man puts on his signature boots, age fifteen, youthful and full of vigor, prepares to go to his daily combat training. He is already twenty minutes late but has no fear because he is a prodigy, and it so happens to be that his sensei is someone really close to him. The year is 2050 and the world is starting to get back on its feet after the incident, which ravaged the world sixteen years ago. Life is ideal, life is prosperous, and life is very comfortable for the young man named I-Hei.
The brown-skinned boy with the crimson hair and hazel eyes heads confidently to the training grounds. He lives in a wealthy monastery and walks down the long hallway that will lead him to the training ground. With every step he takes, he starts hearing the screams, moans and grunts of his fellow peers get all the louder and with every confident step he takes, he can feel his heart slowly filling with dread.
A crushing ice-cold presence consumes him the more he gets closer to his destination. All his confidence might as well have never existed as he realizes just how deep in trouble he is with his sensei. The end of the hallway is finally here and in front of him is a pear tree wooden door with very beautiful carvings of dragons and a shiny gilded doorknob just waiting to be turned, I-Hei is aware of what awaits him on the other side of the detailed door. A force greater than any demon and a rage greater than that of the rage god Aizen Myōō.
He turns the doorknob a slowly open the door. The door, to I-Hei's dismay, is notorious for its very audible creak. He steps one foot through the door and before he knows it, a beast of a woman looks in his direction with piercing eyes. A stare so simple, yet so detailed that it would be no challenge for even the most impaired person to sense the insatiable bloodlust that is being emitted through those brazen corneas.
A beautiful, elegant, brown-skinned woman casually strolls towards I-Hei, it could've been his imagination, but it seems like the woman was leaving scorch marks where her footprints were supposed to be. It felt like all was lost at that point. The woman makes physical contact with the frightened I-Hei, and casually whispers something into his ear. The students lower their wooden swords and pause their training for a second to see the outcome of this interaction.
As a strong response to the words whispered into his ears, the young I-Hei, perspires more than those students who have been training all morning. The students all break out into laughter. They realize that even their most talented peer has someone he fears, but then again, wouldn't you be afraid of your mother's wrath?
CHAPTER ONE: DEIFIED
3:13 P.M
It was approximately 16 years ago, A powerful god-like entity laid waste to the world. The attack was like no other. It was a random day when the world was the closest to experiencing total bliss than ever before. World hunger, poverty, theft, corruption and political instability were still there, but much had been accomplished to alleviate the filthy aspects of the world. The world was in a much better state than it was the years prior.
The entity was about the same size as a normal human being, nothing particularly different. She closely resembled a beautiful young woman in her 20s, but her overpowering omnipotence could not be ignored. She was looking down at all of humanity, yet she was the size of a normal human.
Her intent was clear, and her contempt was pulpable. Her one and only objective was to destroy the planet. The entity lifted her left arm and we watched as the entire planet rumbled like the most severe earthquake had struck the earth.
Buildings crumbled, religious temples disintegrated, malls with people plunged into chaos, weddings were ruined, rivers were poisoned, banks exploded, money erupted out of every safe in banks and private residences. Abject misery ensued and the militaries of all the mighty nations stood no chance.
Morale was non-existent, the catastrophe lasted about a day, all while the entity maintained the same pose. The entity had piercing red eyes, filled with rage. It felt like a divine punishment rather than an invasion by mere aliens.
Lives were severely lost, it almost felt like the entity was sent to clean up an insignificant mess and be done with it.
However, a group of five militants led by a strong-willed woman named Agatha, continued to fire ammunition from discarded tanks from soldiers who have either lost their lives or from those who lost their will to fight.
This was a futile exercise, firing from tanks high up in the air proved to be a wasted effort. The entity was unphased and paid them no attention. They continued searching for survivors and aiding the injured, they carried out their duties as soldiers even though their superiors had given up.
World leaders kneeled down in penitence, totally stripped of their pride as leaders. The situation didn't seem hopeless, it was hopeless. The five militants derived their will from their fearless and charismatic leader and their hatred for the entity that had stripped them of their hard work.
The militants worked hard to make the world a better place. In their years of being part of the military, they have witnessed severe starvation from struggling countries, they have seen children who weighed less than stuffed animals and witnessed the true cruelty of man's corrupt greed. Now all their efforts are in vain. The rage tried to consume the soldiers, but their sense of duty and their unbending resolve overpowered any negative emotions that they might have felt.
This sense of justice pleased the entity. The entity started paying extra attention to the actions of those five and slowly lowers her left arm. The entity descends to the land and slowly hovers towards them. The militants feel its unbelievably strong presence get closer and closer; they freeze in place, the five were scattered around a small town looking for survivors and discarded weapons.
The entity walked to the center of the small town and lifted her left arm and flicked her index finger and a massive force, akin to a magnetic force forcefully and aggressively pulls the militants to the center of the town, within minutes all the militants were brought to the dragon's den.
The militants have faced death in the eye many times before but have faced it face-on, however the feeling of the being within a close distance to the entity filled them all with indescribable dread, only Agatha showed no true fear, it was as if she embodied the will of all who have fallen.
The militants are scattered around the entity, they all grovel on the ground, all of them are paralyzed by fear and only have a view of the entity's feet. It was only Agatha who dared to stare at the entity directly in its eyes. Agatha painfully lifts herself up and prepares herself to engage in a fist fight with the entity.
The entity cracks a smile and utters a simple sentence, "I like you all." The militants bewildered and in utter shock, force themselves up and their faces turn sour. The sentence seemed to have angered the militants, the idea that such a hostile and murderous entity would speak so casually as if it has done nothing wrong. The militants stance themselves for a suicidal fight, they felt no sense of fear anymore.
The entity smiles even more and says "Don't fret, I only destroyed your home, no one is dead, merely unconscious, this was a test. Tell me your names instead of trying to send yourselves to an early grave"
The militants lose their morale and tell the entity their names, it was as if they knew that the entity truly meant that it was going to mercilessly butcher them in an instant.
The entity noted their names, "Very well, I will remember your names. I shall now bestow my powers to you."
The entity lifted its fingers and fired different colored beams into their bodies. Agatha received a brown aura of power and the other four militants received green, red, purple and yellow auras respectively.
The entity stated that those powers were to be used strictly for repairing the damage caused from the attack and for noble actions alone, not to subsidize their human laziness.
The power that the militants received made each of them strong enough to destroy an entire nation's military.
The entity immediately vanished afterwards as if it was never there and thus, the militants valiantly used their newfound powers to repair the planet, with Agatha, who was their strongest member leading the charge. The suffering that the attack caused on the world caused the inevitable rise of criminals and gangsters that sought to benefit from the misery of others through terror and intimidation. Agatha and her team valiantly brought a tactical and swift halt to their attempts.
The hungry and sick were saved, civilizations were restored, their efforts greatly appreciated, and they were noticed by more and more people around the world. Their once ideal dream of saving everyone was becoming more and more real. They truly embodied the will of what a true soldier is: Someone who helps and defends.
They were soon regarded as legends and were praised as demi-gods; they were eventually named the Aciers. They were given the status of humanitarians, soldiers and world leaders, some revered them as the Messiah.
After a year of helping the planet, they went their separate ways and Agatha built a monastery to train ethical soldiers of her own. Agatha gave birth to a boy shortly after and a new journey for the next generation begun anew.
