As Sora plays the game of •TRIALS•, his character becomes unrivaled when he begins to seek out the final trial.
Sora is a 16-year old boy that loves games, especially RPGs. A new virtual reality game, •TRIALS•, is revealed, and so, Sora begins his journey to unravel his destiny.
•TRIALS• is a normal virtual reality game where you have a profession, you can have a side job, and there are trials. Each of the trials have a new color, they each have a boss, as well as their own room. The room is like a rectangle, with a second floor only on the border. The boss monster is in the middle, and the entrance is a huge door, with the door being an ark and it has two doors making the ark. The side monsters are on the top floors and there are mobs on the second floor, as well as on the ground. The ground is full of mobs, while the boss monster is sitting on a huge chair, while the mobs are arranged around it.
The normal setting for this game is in a building/school, and there are guardians of each trial. There are the normal trials which are hard, but have great rewards, they are rainbow colors, in order. Then there are the special trials, the colors of black and white. They are extremely hard to get into the trial, as the guardians have to give you a special item. The guardians allow you into the trials with this special item. All of these special items are flags. These guardians disguise themselves as normal NPCs or players. The trials of black and white are the most hardest to find. They might give you a flag for something that they recognize in you. Each of these guardians also have their own land, or their own home. Their home is outside the school, where it is filled with monsters, some extremely dangerous. There are some monsters that have special permission to have their own home, and they are monsters who can take human form. These monsters are monsters that are extremely dangerous, for they have high levels. Some might have a nice personality, though.
NPCs also have flags, which they give out as rewards or quest starters. These flags give you permission to go to a special space outside and hunt for monsters.
Sora has a mother and a younger brother. His father is an explorer, so he is home at most once a few years. His mother, Elisha, has been taking care of Sora since he was a child, but since they were somewhat poor, they had many hardships. They are not poor nor wealthy now, and Sora is thinking of earning more money through games and part-time jobs. His younger brother, Jun is 5-years old. Sora's father, Reo has not been home for 6 years, and many people say he is dead. Gaming is the only good memory Sora had with his father. He is gaming for money and because it was his only memory he had with his father.
