When is the time that you can proudly say was your happiest?
Were you truly happy?
Or are you simply trying to be?
Can everyone be as happy as the other?
These are the questions Lucas asks himself. His life as an older brother to his younger sister and eldest child to their parents had been so arduous. He works at multiple part time jobs in order to provide for his sister and not to mention, his father. As a member of the family, it feels so wrong to be this burdened to the extent that Lucas questions the relationship they have.
Can they be called a family?
However, he can't bring himself to just abandon or neglect them for he believes that it is still his responsiblity.
Get up, attend classes, go to work, sleep, repeat.
This is how his everyday life cycles.
Until he met Vin who had greatly affected his life. He's been a sunshine in the morning and the moon at night. Lucas isn't the type to befriend just anyone for he doesn't have time to do so. But he didn't mind accepting Vin's company. And eventually, he became attached to him and allowed Vin to know him deeper — because when he is with him, for some reason, every problem seems to fade.
The days he spent with him were memories he learned to treasure. Now, he doesn't want to let go of him since he sees Vin as the only person he needs to continue living. And when things seem to go smoothly, the playful life begins to attack him again.
This time, Lucas has no way of fighting back. The only option left was to accept this misery.
