"What do you mean you don't like me anymore?"
Her tone said it all. He didn't need to look at her face to know she was beyond pissed. Her glaring eyes were dripping with venom, filled with hatred for her lover. Or, perhaps an ex-lover would be more appropriate?
"Listen, Lily-" "I got it, Michael," suddenly, she stopped him and smiled knowingly, "You like that Jennifer, right? I knew it already. I don't mind." Flashing a wide, close-eyed grin, the raven head walked away calmly. Just a moment ago, her pale was skin reddened with a crimson hue due to anger. Seeing her walk away without as much as even a word of loathing, Michael couldn't help a sense of dread enveloping him. His throat felt dry as he took a sip from his drink. The weird stares other customers had been giving them returned to their own businesses.
Michael sat there, staring mindlessly at the now cold coffee. Something bad was going to happen. He knew it.

Leila hummed as she danced to the soft melody echoing through the room. She was in an extremely pleasant mood today. The moonlight making its way through the window uninvited fell on her snow white skin, making it shine like the Goddess Luna herself. Her silky black locks danced around her face with every move she made, sometimes hiding the gleeful look in her eyes as they covered them momentarily.
Leila paused for a bit, moving the hair out of her eyes. The feeling of ecstasy returned as her gaze fell upon her beloved.
"Michael... Oh Michael....", Leaning down, she caressed the sleeping face of her lover lovingly. "You won't leave me, right? You can't leave me us, especially not Keira. Can't you understand how broken she'll be without you? She needs you," Leila paused,
๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐, ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น."
A few moments passed, tension has started to develop in the atmosphere, diminishing the lingering bit of serenity completely. The music still running in the background didn't feel as sweet to the ear anymore. Rather, it seemed like a warning. The warning of calmness before the storm.
"Oh, what am I talking about? " a soft, sarcastic chuckle could be heard, "Of course, you won't leave me. We promised we'd raise a cute little family of our own, didn't we?
Leila realized her posture had gotten unnaturally stiff. Her hand on Michael's face had turned into a tight grip. Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to relax. It's not good for her to work herself out right now, especially over trivial matters like this. Moreover, she has no reason to worry now. Tthe situation has completely fallen under her control.
Withdrawing her hands, she carefully put them on her stomach, as if it was as fragile as a feather. Another life is resting peacefully there, another life she values more than her own.
"Sorry, little one. Did I disturb your slumber?," she spoke up in a sing-song voice, "I'm sorry, I got worked up over nothing. I promise I'll take greater care of myself in future, only for you~"
Her cheerful demeanor took over once again. She walked out of the roomroomp, turning off the radio on the way. The echoes of the melodious tone of her lullabies lingered in the hallway for a few seconds before fading into the darkness of the night, leaving only the still body of her beloved in the room.
How pitiful, he really cannot leave. How could he? Life has drained out of him a few hours ago. His dull eyes have been staring into the ceiling for a while now.

Anyways, have a good day. Hope you liked this one.
