As many of you fellow adults know, Generation Z is made up of many young and naive kids, susceptible to many types of bullshittery online, causing them to encourage in reckless behavior. Examples of such behaviors are, and not limited to:
- Stealing the toilets from public bathrooms (even though its disgusting why would you do that ew)
- Faking mental disorders
- Practicing satanism
- Eating tide pods
- Eating kids
- Eating food
- Being a kid
- Kid
- Kid
- Using t*k t*k and f*rtnite (🤢🤢🤮CRIMGE ALAERT!!!!!)
- Existing
As you can see from the things listed, these kids are, indeed, pretty disgusting. As those kids would say, these things are indeed, “not loggers.”
But, as many of you adults are aware, these Generation Z kids have started cancelling the thumbs up emoji (👍) recently, (just like how they canceled my annual senior hot tub party but that’s an important story for another time) causing outrage amongst the public. This is arguably the most vile and cruel thing a generation of kids could ever do, even if those kids participate daily in volunteering and advocate to help the needy. Banning the thumbs up emoji is a crime amongst humanity; a blasphemy, if you would call it. Whoever you believe in, whatever higher order there is, would be offended by this very act, and would rightfully send these offenders straight to hell.
So, why does Get Z want to cancel the thumbs up emoji (and why is it totally not fake news?)
So, for starters, lets take a look at things totally popular reddit post that got famous because of Gen Z:
The post features a concerned Redditor talking about the consequences after Get Z takes over the world. Rightfully, he is worried. One Redditor in the comments tells of a great tragedy going on: the thumbs up emoji war. Generation Z has apparently seen this emoji as too “sarcastic, indifferent and rude.” I disagree with that statement. First, the thumbs up emoji features a hand pointing its thumb up. In many places, this symbolizes agreement, which means respect for the other person. For example, if you agree with my claim in this post, you are smart, I love you, you will get into Harvard, and you will get 3278384 billion dollars. If you don’t you are a filthy Get Zer and probably saw a naked black amogus twerking when you’ve clicked that link above. If you are a Gen Zer, here you go:
👍(fck you)
(Are you offended yet??)
As we’ve known, Generation Z tend to be offended at everything. If not to their taste, they cancel it. Now, what is the definition of cancel?
As you’ve guessed, to make one thing not exist. (Or an attempt to, since who would expect many of these children to successfully unite together and fulfill a common goal?)
In other words, Generation Z are offended by the thumbs up emoji because it offends them, and they don’t like it. The reason stated above is the reason why they’re offended. We are not pleased by rude responses, but imagine the reaction when one of these Gen Zers see this emoji.
Yup.
Canceled!
(And no, I’m not going to tell you why this article isn’t fake. It’s so obviously real)
