Your boyfriend had to move to another country since he got accepted in a top college that he dreamed of
You both discussed staying together but long distance
You were sad about this but you wanted him to achieve his dream of becoming an attorney
The days and months went by so fast and you guys were still going which you were happy about going so well until you noticed something off about him..
You decided to surprise him by visiting him on the day of your guy's anniversary which you got some gifts and packed to board the airplane
It was a long flight but you made it. You knew his address since you visited him multiple times before but he knew you were coming
This time, he didn't. You were wearing a disguise and started to walk to the house
You arrived, only a few blocks away and you saw your boyfriend Infront of the house, you thought he was waiting for his roommate but actually, it was a beautiful girl approaching him
You immediately got the wrong idea, started overthinking about the situation and whether he was cheating and began to cry softly
You started walking back to the hotel you recently just bought since you can't board the airplane until tomorrow
You got a text from your boyfriend, "Hi love!"
You didn't want to answer
"You seems busy right now, but can I come over today? I miss you :("
You wanted to tell and scream at him, but you didn't. You texted him back the same way you have been until you said, "I guess the promise we made to each other was broken by you huh."
Your boyfriend kept asking what happened or are you upset and stuff. You had enough and began texting what you saw along with, I'm breaking up with you
There was a silence for a while after texting that
He responded with, "Love... the girl you saw is my sister, helping me get an anniversary gift that suited you..."
You didn't know what to do or say but responded with, "That's what they all say.. stop lying and f*ck off!"
"I understand love, I'll do as you said but she really is my sister.. I wanted you to meet her tomorrow.. I still love you and miss you.. bye y/n."
You began to cry out of nowhere, what he said felt true but you got hurt by the same thing but you wanted to see what he said was true.
You rushed over to his house and saw your "ex-boyfriend" crying his heart out while someone was consoling him.
You had your disguise on and went over to talk to them.
"Young man, why are you crying?" you said.
"My girlfriend just broke up with me.." he sniffled and cried.
"Is this your girlfriend?" you asked, knowing this is the same girl from before.
"No... she's my sister.." he said.
You quickly stopped and regretted your chooses already and wanted to talk to him until she spoke.
"My brother wanted to propose to her on their anniversary tomorrow. I guess she came and thought I was side."
You stayed calm and left. You hid behind a wall and began to cry. You didn't know what to do, you thought to yourself about believing him instead of jumping to conclusions like you have always done but, everything has already been done... no way of going back now.
