A couple in their mid 40's were sitting on the sofa in their living room , with a blank expression. Anyone can tell by seeing them , that they are 'living dead' . The woman got up and went towards the cupboard and took out a photo . In the photo , a girl in early teenage , with big dolly eyes and rosy cheeks was sitting on the bench. Tears left her eyes after watching the photo for few minutes. She went towards her husband and they both cried for few minutes .
They are grieving for their daughter , who went missing since 12 years and , today is her 21st birthday. They wanted to celebrate it but , the birthday person was not with them .
When clock stuck the midnight 12 , a phone ring was heard across the whole room. He picked up the phone and said hello . The person on another line was sniffing continuosly, like she cried before calling them. He asked her who is she and why she called them in the midnight.
That person answered him , while controlling her sniffing, - " Dad !! .... i am Evy !! ...your daughter !! ".
He froze for few minutes after hearing this sentence and said while crying, - " What-r are .. you talking? ".
She didn't say anything and continue sniffing , while he couldn't speak anything due to ....... fear??
But this time ,
She answered him with creepy laughing , - " hahah... don't.. you ... miss ...me .... dad??! ".
He hang up the call in hurry and turn to face her shocked wife . She questioned him by stuttering, - " Wh-o ...is ...she-e ?? ".
They both couldn't believe what they have heard , few seconds ago.....
He said in a whispered tone -
" How can this be possible?! ....... "
" We ... have ...killed ....her ....12 years ..ago ....."
Then his wife questioned him-
" Then , who ... called us ..... ??? "
