William's red eyes took in the sleeping form of his lover. Everything about her warmed his blood and made it race through the veins that had long grown webs. Her tail patted the bed gently. One, two, three. She was waking up.
The wolf's scrunched nose and furrowed brows made William smile to himself. If he truly had eternity, he prayed to spend it with just her. The vampire stroked the cheek of the waking wolf and two yellow eyes to sprung open.
"Did I startle you?"
She replied with a gentle, almost unnoticeable, shift of her head. His next question was interrupted when short fangs knocked against his long ones in a sloppy kiss.
He chuckled, ignoring the dull pain caused by his inexperienced lover. "Good morning, my love."
