Miranda is a student of Stuyvesant High School and going to be 18 years old after 1 Week. She has a best friend called Lydia.
They are in the High School when Lydia asks for going to shopping and irfan's place. Miranda agrees to shopping but say nothing in Irfan's matter. Lydia has a lunch date with Aaron, her boyfriend so they decides to go in the afternoon. But Miranda doesn't spare the chance and tease Aaron making him blush.
Both Lydia and Aaron leaves for their class when Miranda's hand starts to froze. She is having this problem for a few days now. Whatever ahe touches, sometime it becomes Ice and sometime it stays normal. But she don't know how to stop and also don't want people to stare at her like she's some kind of monster!!
That's when the most famous guy of the campus comes to her rescue, Flynn. Miranda at first is confused why he's looking at her but 8then he helps her with his handkerchief so she can hide her frozen book. But no one around them seems to notice it. Why??
At 4 pm Miranda is waiting outside the Mall for Lydia but she's late. Also she's not picking up her phone. Miranda becomes a little angry when she spots Flynn again. Wherever she's going she's spotting her. Is he stalking her?? She goes to Flynn and says not to stalk her because she wouldn't become his playdate. Flynn tries to deny the playdate fact but Miranda doesn't listen and walks away.
For Flynn it's hard to watch Miranda from far away but he is stalking her for her safety which soon she'll need.
Lydia arrives finally but a protectiveness is working for Miranda. She doesn't want Lydia to see Flynn. Not only Lydia but any other girl shouldn't see Flynn. She finds him hot but she doesn't know why she's feeling this protective. At the Mall they were buying things when Miranda's power activates again. She gets panicked and leaves the store using washroom excuse.
Unfortunately she touches a big statue on the way which becomes Ice instantly and she gets really scared. Suddenly someone pulls her and hugs ger tightly to calm her down. That is none other than Flynn. He kisses the top of her head and calm her down but Miranda is so scared.
She asks Flynn, "Am I a Monster??"
