"The Haunted Mansion"
The mansion stood tall, dark, and dreary,
Its halls whispered stories that were quite eerie.
No one dared to step inside,
For the rumors of hauntings made them hide.
But there was one brave soul,
Who was willing to take on the ghostly toll.
His name was John, and he was bold,
Or so he thought, until the mansion's secrets were told.
He walked through the doors, with trepidation in his heart,
Hoping to unravel the mystery, right from the start.
The first clue lay hidden in the halls,
A riddle so puzzling, it made John's mind crawl.
The paintings on the walls, they held the key,
Each one a clue to the mystery.
But what they meant, John did not know,
So he wandered on, with a sense of woe.
The second clue was in the kitchen,
A recipe for disaster, with no way to fix it.
A potion to ward off the spirits within,
But the ingredients were too hard to win.
John searched high and low, with no luck,
The mansion's secrets, they were all stuck.
Until he stumbled upon a hidden room,
The puzzle pieces started to resume.
The room was filled with ancient tomes,
Each one a clue to the haunted home.
John deciphered the code, bit by bit,
And found the key to the mansion's crypt.
The crypt revealed the final clue,
A message from the spirits, bold and true.
They warned John to leave, or suffer their wrath,
But he was determined to stay on the path.
The spirits rose up, with fury and might,
John's courage faltered, in the darkest of night.
He ran for the door, with all his might,
But the spirits caught him, before he took flight.
Now the mansion stands, dark and cold,
Its halls filled with secrets, untold.
And if you listen closely, on a quiet night,
You can hear John's screams, with all their might.
So if you ever see the mansion, don't be brave,
For the spirits there, will take you to your grave.
But if you dare, to solve the puzzle inside,
You might just survive, with your soul alive.
