Kindness [poem]

In this world so cruel and unkind,

It takes courage to be a gentle mind,

To see the pain and suffering around,

And still spread kindness all around.

I admire anyone who can be so kind,

Even when the world seems to have lost its mind,

For it takes effort, strength, and grace,

To shine a light in such a darkened space.

So don't let them tell you you're weak,

Or that your gentle heart is meek,

For what you do is important and true,

Bringing hope to me and to you.

Spread kindness and love wherever you go,

And never let anyone dim your glow,

For in a world so cruel and unfair,

Your kindness is the light that we need to dare.

So keep being the good person you are,

And always, always shine like a star,

For in a world that needs it the most,

Your kindness is what gives us hope.
