In a pub with loud music, lots of people, drinks, and dancing, Dae-Ho came in with his friends. He sat down near the bartender, while his friends left him alone with ladies in their arms.
“Would you like a drink?” The bartender turned to Dae-Ho as he spoke.
“Ahh…..” Dae-Ho looked to the side, not knowing what to say as he doesn’t drink.
“Water?”
The bartender stared at Dae-Ho for a second, and turned around as he said, “Ok.” Only to be interrupted by someone.
“A Strawberry Margarita.” It was a man. He sat next to Dae-Ho. “For this man.” as he smiled, looking at Dae-Ho.
“Sorry… but..”
“Don’t worry. It’s on me.”
The man turned to Dae-Ho.
“It’s your first time I bet. I chose you a sweet alcohol. It doesn’t have much alcohol in it. Don’t worry.”
“……”
“I see….” Dae-Ho glanced away for a moment, when the man interrupted him, and introduced himself.
“I’m Baek Hwan. What about you?”
“Ahh…. Um… I’m Park Dae-Ho.”
The man, Baek Hwan smiled, and the bartender gave the Strawberry Margarita to Dae-Ho.
“Did you come here by yourself?”
“No.. with my friends.”
Baek Hwan turned around and looked at the people dancing on the dance floor.
“I see..”
Dae-Ho took a sip of the margarita, and tasted a sweet taste from it.
“!!” A slight blush was shown on his face, it was easy to tell that he enjoyed the drink.
“Pft.” Hwan had a grin on his face, but it wasn’t noticeable.
Hwan looked at the bartender, who gave him a glance back, and left.
“How is it?”
“It’s nice. I like it.”
“That’s good.” Hwan looked at Dae-Ho with deep eyes.
“??” Dae-Ho looked up, confused.
Hwan kept a smile on his face, when suddenly, Dae-Ho felt a bit dizzy.
“!!?”
Dae-Ho placed the empty margarita glass on the table, and held his forehead with his hands.
“I-… I’m sorry… I.. need to use the… restroom for a-“
Dae-Ho got up as he spoke, but stopped suddenly as he almost tripped.
Hwan caught him by the stomach, as he got up to help him.
“Are you ok? Do you not have a good tolerance?”
“I… I don’t know..”
“…. Well… why don’t I help you.”
“…..” Dae-Ho didn’t want to accept, but accepted it anyway. “Ok…”
……………………………
Dae-Ho opened his eyes to see a white ceiling with a nice chandelier.
“???”
Dae-Ho got up, and looked around the room.
He was in a bed, in a huge room, two small windows, a single door to the exit, and another one to maybe the bathroom. There was also a desk with a single chair, a small drawer next to the bed, and a lamp on the drawer. Except for those, the room looked very empty in this huge, expensive looking room.
After examining the room, a knock was heard from the door to the exit.
Soon after, he saw Baek Hwan.
“!!”
Hwan came in with food in a tray, and put it down on the desk.
“Mr. Baek, thank you for taking care of me, but I need to go. Please excu-“
Dae-Ho was pushed down the bed as soon as he was about to get up, and was hugged.
“!!!”
Hwan had a smile, but the smile which Dae-Ho had never noticed, seemed wrong.
“Mr. Baek-!”
Dae-Ho tried to get up, but was pressed against the bed.
“Mr. Baek! What are you- are you smelling me!!!?”
Hwan smirked, and looked up at Dae-Ho.
“It’s been so long… how could I not have lost control..”
“….”
Disgust was shown on Dae-Ho’s face, and Hwan laughed it off.
“Of course, you wouldn’t remember me.”
“??”
“The rich kid who was always bullied by those group of kids in high school.”
“!!”
“Remember now..”
“…. What does that have to do with me?”
Hwan grinned, and closed his eyes as he hugged Dae-Ho tighter.
“It has everything to do with you. The way you always look at me..”
Hwan lowered his voice in the last sentence, but it was still audible.
“!!”
Dae-Ho blushed hardcore, and looked away.
“Mr. Baek!!”
“Yes?”
Hwan looked back up at Dae-Ho with a mischievous smile.
“I want to leave. Please let go of me.”
“No.”
“…..”
Dae-Ho exhaled slightly, and tried to move, but couldn’t.
Hwan laughed thinking that it was ‘cute’.
“You won’t be able to go anywhere,” Hwan said with an obsessive look.
“Crazy… he’s crazy!!” Dae-Ho thought in his head.
Hwan leaned into Dae-Ho’s ears, and said, “You can only look at me.”
…………… Some years ago…………
Park Dae-Ho, a normal high schooler. He has average grades, and is a normal bystander to every fights in school. He stares, and doesn’t stare, pities, but doesn’t, cares, but doesn’t care (about people and their business).
Baek Hwan is a rich high schooler. But, he is always bullies by a group of kids. He doesn’t care, and thinks that they’re lower than him. When one day he was getting tired of it, he noticed the presence of Dae-Ho, and felt like it was the first time he has ever saw him.
But as time went by, he noticed that Dae-Ho was always there. This made Hwan feel some kind of obsession with Dae-Ho’s stare.
“I want to monopolize those eyes to where he only sees me. No one else.” Is what he always kept on thinking whenever he thinks of Dae-Ho.
