The Belated Message of Love:
Jungkook had been a soldier for as long as he could remember. He had lost his parents in the war and had no family left. So he did what he had to do to survive, and that was to fight.
One day, while on duty, Jungkook received a letter from a girl named Lagartha. She had found his name on a list of soldiers and decided to write to him. The letter was sweet and innocent, and Jungkook couldn't help but feel touched.
He wrote back, and they continued to exchange letters over the next few months. They talked about everything under the sun, from their hopes and dreams to the mundanities of everyday life.
As time went by, Jungkook found himself falling in love with Lagartha. Her words had a way of making him feel seen and understood, something he had never felt before.
Finally, he was given leave and decided to visit her in France, where she was staying in a refugee camp. When he saw her for the first time, he knew that he had made the right decision.
They spent the next few weeks together, exploring the beautiful countryside and talking about their future. Jungkook knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lagartha.
But all good things must come to an end, and Jungkook had to return to the war. He promised Lagartha that he would write to her every day and that they would be reunited soon.
As he made his way back to the front lines, Jungkook wrote a letter to Lagartha, pouring out his heart and soul to her. But fate had other plans.
Jungkook was killed in action, and the letter he had written never reached Lagartha. She waited for him, hoping against hope that he would return. But he never did.
Years passed, and Lagartha grew old, never forgetting the love she had shared with Jungkook. And as she lay on her deathbed, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she whispered his name, longing for the love that had been taken from her.
That's when the doctor said that someone want to see her.
Excuse me, miss," the man said, holding out a yellowed envelope. "I was asked to deliver this to you. It's from Jungkook."
Lagartha's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. "Jungkook? How is that possible?"
The man explained that he had served in the same regiment as Jungkook during the war, and that they had become good friends. Before he had been killed in action, Jungkook had entrusted him with the letter, and asked him to deliver it to Lagartha personally.
"I've been searching for you for years," the man said, his voice filled with emotion. "I promised Jungkook that I would make sure you received this letter, no matter how long it took."
Lagartha took the envelope from him, her hands trembling with anticipation. She carefully opened the envelope, her heart pounding in her chest.
As she read Jungkook's words of love and devotion, tears streamed down her face. She couldn't believe that after all these years, his words could still move her so deeply.
"He loved you very much," the man said softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "He talked about you all the time."
Lagartha looked up at him, tears still streaming down her face. "Thank you for bringing this to me. You don't know what this means to me."
The man nodded, a sad smile on his face. "It was my pleasure. Jungkook was a good man, and he deserved to have his last wishes fulfilled."
As he turned to leave, Lagartha knew that she would never forget the love she had shared with Jungkook. Even though he was gone, his memory would live on in her heart forever. And she would always be grateful to the kind stranger who had brought her the letter that had been years in the making.
