"I can't do this.. I really can't.. " You whined and messed up your hairs vigorously.
"You have messed up your hairs for more than ten times now.. When are you planning to leave.. " Kiara said in a cold voice.
"Girl, I can't.. I mean think of it.. From the whole hospital I got him, the rudest and the strictest person of all the time to work with.. " You said as you showed her the file.
"But you can't change it right.. And think about it, you will turn into a punctual stupid after you train under him.. " She said and came to you, "hmm.. Even his Photograph looks so cold" She said looking at the file.
"Don't scare me.. " You said and gulped.
"Oh, I remember.. You were meant to go on 8 in the morning right.. What time is it now..? " She said and tapped at your watch.
You look down at your wrist and gasped,
" 11 , oh my god.. I gotta go.. " You said and ran out of the door picking up your bag and wearing your shoes.
Within half hour, you were at the Hospital and the first person you bumped into was the person , to whom you weren't prepared to meet right at the moment.
"Dr. Aditya.. " You gulped and stepped back.
"You are the person who haven't checked in yet.. " He said with a raised brow.
You nodded.
"I am so sorry sir, I.. I was stuck somewhere.." You said looking down on the ground.
"And you say that being an intern doctor.. I think this profession doesn't suit you. Go and give your resignation in five minutes. " He said and walked past you while your eyes widen.
"What.. " You whispered to yourself and ran to the doctor who was walking in his white coat, down the corridor towards the ward.
"Sir, sir.. " You shouted but he didn't stopped.
He stopped at the wards and started checking the patient when you finally got to him.
"I am really sorry sir.. These kind of mistakes won't happen again. I will do anything to pay the price.. Please don't do this" You said panting and he didn't even cared to look at you.
"Just a chance, and if you don't do that too.. You are fired, and then you won't be able to work like this anymore.. " He said glaring at you, with his deep and dark brown eyes.
You stood there frozen.
Giving resignation would be better , what if the chance don't work out and you fail. Your years of struggle would be worth nothing.
But, you worked hard for coming at this point, this hospital was your dream. How can you let your struggle of years go down in the drain.
"You have five more seconds to think.. " He said looking at his watch.
"Yes sir, tell me.. I will do it.. " You said without hesitation.
"Come with me then.. " He said and went out of the General wards area and walked towards the rooms, where his Cabin was located.
"Here's your coat.. " He said and gave it to you.
You nodded and wore it over your clothes. He was writing things in his notebook.
"Intern Dr.Sana .. Present sir.. " You said and he looked at you.
"First lesson of the day, you have to make decisions in five seconds. They can save or destroy lives.. " He said and you looked at him with a puzzled look.
He sighed and then continued, "imagine you are standing in the surgery, and the persons artery ruptures. You are holding the bullets with one hand and with another, you are holding the another blood vessel. You have to decide it in two seconds that what you are going to do, as you can't leave anything.. " He said and you nodded.
"Noted sir.. " You said and smiled cheerfully.
He looked back at his notebook again and then handed you 20 files.
"Study these today before going back, and tell me what you found out.. " He said and your jaw dropped on the ground.
"But sir, these are 20.." You stammered.
"So..? " He said and looked at you, directly in your eyes. His eyes piercing your soul.
"So, I will get to work right now.. " You said and sat on the couch in the doctors cabin.
He stood up and walked out to continue his rounds.
Time to time, he came in the cabin, took some things and went out, before taking a glance.
You were still studying the files in the lunch break.
He came inside his cabin and sat on his chair. He opened his take out order and then started eating in front of you, without even asking that you want to eat or not.
You looked at him and he glared at you, then you again continue your work.
You still worked till late at night, not noticing that the time has passed drastically.
"Finally, it's over.. " You said closing the last file and stretching your hands in the air.
You looked at the window, it was already dark.
You cracked your neck and then put the files down at the table of Mr. Devil Doctor.
Taking out your white coat and then walking out of the hospital, you were met with the most unwanted scenario you ever wished.
Rain.
You sighed and took out your Phone.
You dialled the number you always do, Kiara's.
The call didn't connected and then you looked at the recent message she did.
"I have urgent work in my hometown, come right now.. Or else I will leave without giving you apartment keys.. "
"What in the world.. " You sighed and then out the Phone back down.
"She might have put the keys under the mat.." You said and started running, with your bag in your head, in the heavy rain.
But, for your bad luck, the rain turned more vigorous.
"Perfect " You said as you looked up at the sky.
Suddenly a car came by and your dress was drowned in the dirt.
"You stupid.. " You shouted at the car and it stopped.
"What worst could happen now.. " You whined at rubbed the back of your neck.
The car reversed back and stood in front of you. The window of the passenger seat rolled down and your soul left your body.
"You shouldn't talk rubbish to strangers.. " Dr. Aditya said and you gulped.
"Why did you drive that fast then.. " You mumbled.
"I heard it.. " He said and you face palm yourself.
"Come, I will drop you.. " He said again and then you looked up at him and smiled.
"If you are going to be five more seconds late, I will go" He said and you hopped in the car, on the passengers seat.
You navigated him to your apartment and then after saying thank you, you walked towards the door. He waited and looked at you.
You bent down and looked under the mat, on the light in front of the door, in the mail box.. She didn't left you the key.
"Kiaraaaa... " You slightly shouted and threw your bag down on the ground.
"What happened? " Dr. Aditya said in a cold voice, coming behind you and you jumped up.
"Atleast don't freak me out sir.. I will die out of heart attack" You said putting your hands on your chest.
He chuckled a little and pulled his long face again.
What..? Dr. Aditya.. The Doctor Devil.. Chuckled..?
"Well, my friend left and now I have no place to stay.. " You said and picked up your bag.
"You can then stay with me.. " He said and your eyes widen.
"But, I have other flatmates too, which are male so.. If you don't mind that.. " He said again.
"How can i trust that I will he safe there.. " You mumbled while taking out your phone from your bag.
"I will take care of that.. " He said and you pouted.
"Doctor Devil, some things are mumbled so that only we can hear about it.. " You said and looked at him.
"What did you call me..? " He said and pointed at himself.
"I said, let's go then. " You said and he glared at you.
"She is going to stay here tonight.. Don't mess with her.. " Dr. Aditya said to the three males standing in front of you, who eyed you from top to bottom.
"Are you his girlfriend..? " One of them said and pointed at you.
"No no no no.. I am an intern.. " You said waving your hands as a no.
"You stupid.. How can you bring a girl at home for the first time, and she is not your girlfriend.. " He whined at looked at Aditya.
"Looks like we are going to die without looking at your bride.. " Another man said and put his hand on his head.
"He is going to die virgin" The third one said and this was enough for you to laugh.
Aditya took out his shoes and threw one of them at the man and they started running, Aditya also chased them and you were laughing and confused at the most famous Devil Doctor, running around the house like a four year old child.
