Chapter 5:Crows Guidance
Hanz spent most of his childhood under the care of the Crow. As far as he knew, the Crow and the Master Keeper were his only parents, since they were the only ones who had helped him and communicated with him. Crow taught him many things, from how to hunt for food to how to defend himself from predators. Hanz trusted the Crow completely and saw the bird as a loving and caring parent.
But Hanz was not a normal child. He was cursed with extraordinary abilities, including the power to understand the animals in the forest, and superhuman senses, strength, and speed. He was also a fast learner, soaking up everything the Crow taught him.
Their relationship was like that of a mother and child, with the Crow guiding and nurturing Hanz every step of the way. Meanwhile, the Master Keeper remained distant from Hanz, only observing him from afar. Hanz assumed that the Master Keeper was neutral about him, but little did he know that the Master Keeper was watching him closely to see how strong the curse was.
One day, while Hanz was out gathering food, he stumbled upon a group of hungry wolves. The pack had been stalking him for some time, waiting for the right moment to strike. But Hanz was prepared, thanks to the lessons he had learned from the Crow.
With his superhuman speed and strength, Hanz was able to fight off the wolves and save himself. The experience taught him that even with his incredible abilities, he still needed to be careful and vigilant in the forest.
Hanz returned to the Tree House, panting and covered in dirt, with a few scratches on his arms. The Crow flew down from her perch and landed on Hanz's shoulder, inspecting him closely.
Crow: "What happened, my dear child? Are you alright?"
Hanz: "I'm fine, Crow. I just ran into a pack of wolves, but I managed to fend them off."
Crow: "You are brave and strong, Hanz. I am so proud of you."
Hanz felt a surge of pride and satisfaction. He had always looked up to the Crow, and her words of encouragement meant everything to him.
Hanz: "Thanks to your teachings, Crow. I knew what to do."
Crow: "Indeed, my child. But you must remember, the forest is full of dangers, and you must always be alert."
Hanz nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He knew that he had much to learn, and he was eager to continue his education.
Hanz: "I'll be careful, Crow. I promise."
Crow: "I have no doubt, my child. You are destined for great things. But for now, let's rest and tend to those scratches."
Hanz smiled, feeling grateful for the Crow's guidance and care. He knew that he was lucky to have her in his life. As he settled down for the night, he thought about what other challenges lay ahead, and how he would face them with strength, determination, and the knowledge that the Crow had bestowed upon him.
