Koi Yo Yokan
I have foolishly mistaken everything about us
"Hey, are you serious?" said the person before laughing. "You thought we were dating? I thought you knew were only playing around."
He only kept his head lowered but he felt himself shrinking. Knowing it'd be more embarrassing if he didn't do something, he tried hard to look at him but couldn't supress his worried look. He held every ounce of gloss appear in his eyes. God knows how much he held his breath while keeping on his stand before this cruel person.
But as soon as he said, "Anyways, I'm not gay and since things got awkward. Let's not hang out anymore." It was the last of it.
Feeling stunned and his line of sight fell to the ground again. With wide eyes, he did not want to hear those words. Never. It hurted more like a sharp dagger slowly puncturing his heart, even twisting it. He grimaced in pain inside but never did he dare to let it show.
He nods faintly and turned his back on him and walked away.
"Hey, where are you going? Aren't you going to say something?"
He clenched his jaw tightly begging himself not to turn brittle. He must walk away. He must get away from him. He knew his heart could not take it.
Silent tears slowly dropped like a trail by the sidewalk and the subject of his painful affection caught him crying but didn't run to him. He only watched him walk away and disappear from the crowd.
"Haa... I was relentlessly betrayed"
After knowing how far he was from the man. He stopped walking and looked up at the sky as he narrowed his eyes watching the clouds crowd the sun while turning dark and heavy.
Ah, thank goodness... it was about to rain. The rain was very symphathetic. It always gives him the chance to cry to his heart's content.
Water droplets gently drooped down into the city before continuously letting everything out. As it were lightly raining, his tears was also smoothly flowing down. The process of starting as smooth and continuing to overflow, the heavy droplets started showering from above, as he bursed his sobbing and snivelling noises with his tears flowing nonstop.
After a moment, with only delicate droplets falling warmly down to his chin, he finally had the strength to continue walking. So he walked and walked not realizing he arrived into a restaurant. When he saw this colorful restaurant with an open sign flickering with neon lights. His series of tears was now put to an end.
This was the place where he and that bastard first met. Of course, he was still holding onto it even if he knew it was hopeless. But now, he decides to brush it all aside. He clutched and open the door, following the jingling sound of the bell.
The restaurant was lively with partying students and cheerful office workers. He ambled to an empty table and sat lazily following to grab the menu.
In the end, he wasted himself and drank alcohol like it was the end of his days. His flushed cheek squished against the table as he then heard the bell jingling from the door. He moved his head to look, his other cheek squishing in turn.
With sluggish eyes, he managed to make eye contact with this handsome man but he closed his eyes instantly passing out and snoozing the next.
The handsome man slightly widened his eyes and recovered just as quickly showing off a subtle smile before continuing to walk with his colleagues to an empty party table.
The night was long. Only when it was beginning to strike 9 pm did the restaurant almost emptied out. It was almost because a certain someone was still napping deeply with no sign of waking up.
The handsome man and his group started to take their leave too. But before he could pass the sleeping person, he paused for a moment for a glimpse, and he noticed its swollen eyes. He guessed it must have cried.
Before he left the restaurant, he was kind enough to leave his handkerchief behind putting the handkerchief on its clenched hand.

"Oi, hello?" said the waitress snapping her finger at his face.
His eyes slowly opened, "Huh?"
"Oh... Sir, we're closing the restaurant. Please take your leave," said the waitress moving on to walk to the cashier to get her bag.
He mustered up the courage to get up from the chair half-asleep. Shit, he drank too much.
And then he noticed he was gripping something tightly.
"..."
Strange... he didn't bring a handkerchiefs so where did this come from?
Left and right, his head swung to check but there was no one there except him and the waitress inside the restaurant.
"Uhm excuse me? Is this handkerchief yours?" he asked.
The witress who was walking on the way outside the restaurant replied, "Huh? Oh, no".
Then did someone actually gave it to him?
Why?
It remained a mystery to him.
It was only after 2 years did they unexpectedly meet again. The same handsome man. But he did not recall him. The handsome man was the only one who remembered him while he was completely clueless that the handkerchief left in his hand 2 years ago belonged him.
As his boss from a sportswear company he strangely feels that his boss constantly glances at him on several occasions. It was no wonder he startdd overthinking what it meant.
One day, his boss and him are together on a business trip. They spend their nights in a hotel chatting, even for a long time sometimes. Surprisingly, they actually get along well.
They came back to the city getting along well. Until the cruel suddenly appears in front of his house again. It was drunk, and he was definitely not in the mood nor comfortable to see him. When he was backing away, it grasped his arm.
"Don't go... I missed you. I'm so sorry I'm so stupid. I didn't mean to hurt you I still love you all this time," the man confessed in cries.
His horror came back to him only to tell him that he loves him. It has been 2 years and he has forgotten about this cruel person, no matter hard, he has moved on for a long time. But now, his efforts shattered.
The cruel person stayed outside his gate for 2 days and did not move, did not eat, or did anything but only stood there and wait. When he goes out at the morning to go to work, it was only the first day that the man pleaded to him, but it stopped when he reprimanded him to leave him alone. When he comes back to work he ignores him. But when it has come to this, he let him inside.
The man had began telling him everything what it needed to say. Apologizing, a BIG apologizing that it got him especially taken aback.
Handsome boss notices his unusual behaviour in the office lately. Like spacing out and coming home early, almost too quickly. He finds him staring at the clock to strike their take off and went straight home.
But handsome boss has something in mind these days. He was looking forward to receiving another bussiness trip and he will definitely treat him to dinner. Hopefully, he will get closer with the clueless man.
