What do you do when all your thoughts are consumed? All you think about is just one thing. Every thought every dream every nightmare, repeat the same. All you want is him.
"BEEP" "BEEP" "BEEP" Slam! "ugh four already?" I state as I struggle the inner thought 'STAY". Fighting to my feet as the sun stands just right in my view of the ocean. "welp, time to shower"
Dropping the oversized shirt I wore to bed onto the floor. Then, as the water trickles down my neck, the steam evelops all around me, i begin to recall my dream.
The sensation of just remembering, causes my body to tense up. "Geez what the hell" I switch off the water, just before coming out of the shower.
"why?" "whats the point" "when will they stop" my thoughts began to get conflicted "do i wish for them to go" "will i have one the next time" "wont i be lonely if they go"
this dream has repeated for so long, i cant remember when they started. All i know is, they are now a major factor in my life. Theyre impacting my character, my decisions, and overall they are influencing me.
"but is this a good thing?" i question as i unlock the door to the club. "is what a good thing boss?" hearing the deep seductive voice from behind, my mind goes blank. As if muscle memory, i continued as normal.
"Its nothing, Zain" I say while entering the club. "it must be something" Zain follows close behind "i mean its got you worried" My gaze meets his, and the world seems right. All the weight from my shoulders is lifted.
"Mm? Aria?" Zain tilts his head "i said its nothing, get to work" i shift towards the office. "it'll never work" the only thought that screams against my inner desires.
"You know why" "dont even dare" "lock it up and throw it away FAR away" i know it all to well "itll never work" i mutter.
"What wont work boss?" startled by this husky voice, "Drake" i'm overwhelmed with disgust. "get back to the counter" i shoo him away. the less i see of him the better "ouch, the honestly hurts" he mocks as he back away back towards the front.
Staring off, i meet with Zain again as he poors drinks and grabs trays. "why? Why you?" i question as i head towards the floor.
Just as the sun was raising, and the doors were closing, a familiar face appeared. "Hey Babe!" the voice shouted "Zain, i missed you" watching as Zain rushes to her with a grin acrossed his lips. "It'll never work" the voice inside strikes at an already open wound.
No issue will work itself out, but this problem will never be solved. For these thoughts are fleeting, and will eventually fade, and disappear. These feeling will only lead to disappointment and misary.
