"Father, please don't stop me, I want to do it for myself, it's my passion," Alina said helplessly.
"Don't make me repeat myself, you unfilial child," her father replied angrily.
"But why father? Why can't I do what I have dreamed of for many years, just why father? Why?" Alina asked crying.
"Because it's not a good thing, or you want to disgrace our family name which I will never allow you to do," Her father said grabbing her shoulders hard and pushed her back.

Alina is a girl with a bright dream and passion for becoming an actress. She's a girl from a middle-class family where everything revolves around their so-called family name.
Her father is not allowing her to achieve her dream of becoming an actress just because he thinks that those girls who are in this field are some filthy whores who achieved their dreams by sleeping with others or by selling their bodies.
Alina tried every means to convey her father to allow her but every time at the end of the conversation she got nothing but a slap.
One day, she flew from her house to achieve her dreams without telling her father or other family member anything about where is she going. She even passed her audition and was very happy to tell her family this news.
She was thinking that her father will surely proud of her that she achieved her dreams without doing anything disgusting as her father thinks of.

"Where have you been all this time, Alina?" her father asked, shrieking.
"Listen to me first father, look I passed my first audition and without doing anything which makes you hang your head low in front of this society," Alina said happily.
Alina was thinking that maybe her father will support her after listing this but she was wrong because after telling those words she gets nothing but a hard slap on her face and her tears started to roll down.
"Father why? Why can't you just accept your daughter's happiness? Why can't you just stop thinking about your so-called self-respect, for once? Why can't you stop thinking about, 'what would people say'?"
"Have you ever think of my happiness? You said you don't like this field because according to you this field makes you sell yourself but no father you are wrong because look I have passed my audition without doing anything wrong."
"I'm telling you to shut your filthy mouth," Her father said furiously.
Her brother was also taking her father's side. This all was making her lose her mind, this all was nothing but the torture for her.
Every time she thinks of this, makes her lose her mind. Slowly, she started to go into depression because her father started to find a boy for her, and forcing her to marry him.
And on the very day of her marriage, she committed suicide. She can't handle the torture of her family anymore. The father and brother who raised their hands on her and the mother who gave her all love to his son only.
But before committing suicide she wrote a letter in which she said,

Dear father,
Are you happy now? Are you satisfied now? Now you don't have to feel disgusted because of me. Now you don't have to think about 'what would people say'.
Please do ask the mother why she gave birth to me if she thinks that daughters can never do what sons can do? Please do ask her that will she cry even for a second after having the news of my death?
Please do ask brother, is he ever considered me as his sister? I have seen him many times giving respect to other girls, so please do ask him is he ever considered me as a girl? Or is his respect is only for other girls but not for his own sister?
And father my last question is for you, is society now giving you the respect which you couldn't have before because of this unfilial child of yours?

This story portrays, what is happening in our society, in front of our eyes but still we are silent. I want to ask those fathers who think that daughters can only bring harm to our society, "Sir, if you think that daughters are good for nothing then kindly drop giving birth to them if you can't raise her well."
and those boys who gave respect to other girls but not their own sister, "Respected brother, if you can't give respect to your sisters than at least also stop creating difficulties for them."
