Author: writer in box
Since Grandma was leaved by Grandpa forever. Grandma was like losing her wings. She looked out the window of her house and chewed on thumbnail that was already raw. Her eyes as if passed the time that Grandpa still in her life. The sheet of wrinkle in her skin counted the time that she had been spending with Grandpa. Grandpa is Grandma's true love. Really, I could feel Grandma's suffering without Grandpa. After Grandpa deceased, mother decided to take Grandma to our house. Mother though that Grandma would not be comfortable to stay alone in the village, and worried about her healthy. The week before Grandma whimpered to go to back the village. She looked so happy and comfortable to stay in our house. She did not remind about her village, her field. In every morning Grandma would braid my hair and usually she sang a song which her voices heard so soft in my ears. When I heard it, I felt like in another world. Finally I turned my head a bit to sneak a looked at Grandma. She was smiling to me. When I said, Grandma, I want to stew and bake bread. She would take me to the kitchen soon. We would cook together. Grandma leaned in the chair. She prepared anything to cook stew and bake bread.
"Mmm, Mama's bake bread!" my Mother turned from the window.
"You know, your daddy loved my bake bread so much. He would ask me to prepare a cup of green tea and bake bread for him, but now he has gone!" Grandma replied.
My eyes winded and tears came. Then the door opened and wind blew in us. Mother went to stir the stew, I washing up the dishes.
"Leana don't crying front of Grandma again!" murmured Mother to remind me that did not show sadness front of Grandma.
I was smiling to my Mother that I have understood what she meant. The stew was cooked by Grandma that began boiled. That smell came till to my nose and my tongue already to taste it.
"Nice stew and bake bread smell," I said.
"Yes of course, this is because my hands. I am the best cooker," Grandma smiled at me. She was proud about her stew.
"Before we try it, we can't say it, Grandma!" I turned my head on the right and left.
"Tell me. Did not you seek reason to try my stew?" Grandma realized my mind. Grandma took a plate full with her stew, and she gave to me.
"This is yummy stew, I ever eat!" I ate the stew gradually.
"Grandma, actually I can cook like you," I said.
"No, I don't believe it. If you try leana's food, you will be dizzy. The smell of food is like soaks and I can't explain the taste like!" Mother interrupted.
"Mother .......!" I whimpered.
Grandma giggled when she heard my Mother. The moment I can't forget because I just see the dark of cloud in her face now.

The sound of some coins rolling down woke up me. I took my glasses, and I saw to the out of window. The sky was still dark, so I walked to my bed. I sat down in the edge of bed. I stared my grandma who slept in her bed. I stood up, and I approached Grandma. I saw on Grandma's bed that some coins was topsy - turvy. I was astonished a moment. I touched the coins. I assembled the coins one by one, and put it on the table. I was yawn. I went to bed without waking up Grandma to ask about the coins. In the morning my alarm was ringing, I woke up early. I was hurry up because the time has shown at 07.45. I did not realize that Grandma was not on her bed. After I wear my uniform, I ran to the kitchen. I took a bread, and drink a glass milk that spilled to my cloth. That smeared my cloth. I pat stain with my hand.
"Don't drink hurry up!" Mother heck me.
"I am sorry, Mom. I will be late," I whimpered.
"That is your bad habit. If you don't want to be late, you should wake up early," Mother advice me.
"Mom, I am sorry. You can advice me after I come back to the school, but now I have to go to school. I have been late," I said.
"Have your Grandma woke up?" Mother asked.
"Mom, I don't know. I have to go to the school now!" I left my Mother.
My mother walked to my room. She opened the door, approached my Grandma's bed.
"Mom, let's breakfast together!" Mother said.
"Mom, where are you?" Mother did not see Grandma in my room.
"Mom, are you here?" my mother opened the door of toilet.
My mother began panic because she did not find my Grandma anywhere so that she called me. At the time I was front of the gate while my phone was ranging. I hang up my phone.
"What's going on, Mom?" I said.
"You have to come back home now!" Mother's voice heard tremble.
"Why, Mom. I have arrived in my school," I answered.
"I can't find your grandma anywhere!" Mother said.
"Mom, don't be panic, you should try to find her again," I settled my mother.
"I don't find her anywhere!" Mother began crying.
"Alright, I will back to home soon," I said.

I said to myself as I stared my Mother sat down in living room alone, "These would not happen if I realized it".
I swept tears that began fall to my face Through I approached Mother.
"Mom, should we call cop?" I asked.
"Honey, I don't know!" Mother answered.
"Why your Grandma leave us. I don't know, why she do it. I think we have tried to do the best for her," Mother seem so disappointed to Grandma.
"Mom, maybe Grandma went to uncle's house," I supposed that Grandma in uncle's house.
"Your Grandma did not know that his address," Mother answered.
"Mom, we don't know that. Just call him" I suggested.
Mother took her hand phone, she called Uncle. Uncle said that Grandma was not in his house.
"How long has mother gone," Uncle said.
"That has been five hour," Mother answered.
"We can't call police before 24 hour," Uncle said.
"Don't be panic!"
"Let's we find Mother together. I will go there soon" Uncle settled Mother.
Mother looked jolt. I didn't know what I should do. I tried to look calm, in spite of in my heart I am panic too. I did not suppose that Grandma would leave us.
"Tok, tok......................," someone knocked the door, I guess that Uncle.
"Leana, open the door!" Mother said.
I woke up from the sofa, and walked to open the door. I was right that uncle. He seem so pale and worried.
"Sis, what's happen," Uncle approached my Mother.
"I don't know, Dion!" Mother swept her tears.
"Tell me how Mother can leave the house," Uncle said.
"When the morning, I did not see her in bed. I have tried to find her anywhere, but I did not find her,'' Mother began crying again.
"Do you fight with her?"
"No, I don't!" Mother swept her tears again.
"So, why can Mother escape?" Uncle sounded angry.
"If I know it, I will not let Mother go!"
I pour tea from jug to uncle glass. I stared both Mother and Uncle. They were angry each other.
"Uncle, I ever heard that Grandma is homesick. She talked to me, her village is her sweet home" I thought Grandma went to our village.
"I ever said to you that Mother can't leave her village, but you never heard me. You still decide to bring Mother here," Uncle was furious to my Mother
"You blame me. You are not pity to Mother stay alone at village. We don't know if something bad happen to her. Nobody will help her. You never realize it because you just busy about yourself, your job, and anything. You never care about our Mother!" my Mother screamed.
I was dread when I looked at them. They blamed each other. The corner of living room as though collapse because their voice. I closed my ears with my hand.
"Stop fighting, please!''
"You can't find Grandma if you fight each other," I was weeping.
"Uncle, you just take the key of car and we go to find Grandma now,'' I took Uncle's key and pulled him to his car.

Uncle drove his car faster. Out of the corner his eyes, I saw he glared at my Mother. At the time as though wind did not surround in their side. They ignore each other. I felt between ice cold, and frozen. My mother did not say anything along the way, neither did uncle. I just sat down and rolled my eyes out the window, resumed everything deep dawn. In my mind I just hope, my Grandma is right. Uncle's mood grew glummer when he turned left at the north end of town, crossed a set of railroad tracks, and followed winding road thought endless swell of rolling hills the uncle drove car more apprehensive.
"Everything will not happen if someone hear me," Uncle mumble sarcastically.
I known, he could hardly believe what was happening, but he could not blame anything to my Mother. My mother just tried to do the best for my Grandma, she did not realize that Grandma more comfortable live at the village. She just tried to show her love to her parent with brought grandma to our house.
"I brought Mother to my house because I love her. She always there for me and for us, I can't let her alone," Mother's eyes sparkle.
Uncle swallowed and said nothing.
We soon arrived at Grandma's house. Mother hoped out and hold knob, opened the door. There were so dark, I switched on the lamp. I saw around, but I did not find Grandma then I closed the door.
"Where we have to go to find Mother," Uncle grimaced.
"We can call police"
"This has been more 24 hours," I suggested.
Uncle heard me. He took his phone in the pocket and called police soon. We left Grandma's house. I opened the door of car, I saw to back, some trees stood in front of yard and any were a few bushes. My tears dropped eventually.
"The house lost shine without Grandpa, and now the house is gloomy without Grandma," I said to myself.

One month after the day, police officer called to my house. Police gave information that my Grandma in their office. They found my Grandma front of mosque. Fortunately, there were generous woman. She saved Grandma in her house and called police. I and my Mom called my Uncle soon. Before hanging phone, my Mom perplexed a moment. She stared me deeply. Tear dropped slowly while I am looking Grandma. She appeared glummer and her memory fades.
"Mom, don't leave me again"
"Why you leave home, Mom" my Mom asked, but my Grandma did not answer query. When we were still children our parents always by our side In fact when we grew up, we were busy about our self and we did not realize that we began ignore them when we have a new family. Without knowing time is cruel, our parents begin old. Their hair over gone, their memory fades. The time for us to show our love to them, but sometime our love hurt them.
"Forgive me, Mom!" Uncle said, his eyes clouded with sorrow.
Just touched uncle's hands Grandma woke up, she put her hand on her legs, her feet step to my Grandma and Uncle then she hugged them. Her eyes smile from her cheeks.
