Jake is an 8 year old boy who lived a normal live, well at least it's normal.. There are 6 members in his family they are his father(but he died years ago) , mother, his three elder brothers and him.. Unfortunately, a war was still going on and his brothers had to become soldiers in order to protect their country and their family..
Jake lived alone with his mother.. Since he was still young he can't go to war but deep in his heart he feared that he won't be able to meet his brothers again.. He just wished and prayed that they will be alright and they'll return home safely.. He always received letters that were written by his brothers every week but somehow they stopped coming.
After 5 years.. the war ended and the soldiers can finally return to their home.. A bridge was the pathway to the town.. Jake was 13 years old.. he immediately went to the bridge alone to meet his brothers.. He could see everyone were there.. Time went by.. But still Jake's brothers didn't come.. The other soldiers who returned back went to their houses.. But Jake's family was nowhere to be seen..
Night falls.. Jake still waited.. Even though he knew that they could be dead but he still waited and waited until morning.. His mother persuaded him to come home but he refused to believe that they died.. He still waited for their return.. Some of the people pitied him and some called him a lunatic but he still waited.. Finally his mother brought him a letter..
'What in the world is this letter, mother? '
' It's from them.. Their last letter Jake... '
His mother smiled but Jake could see that even though she put a smile on her face she was sad.. He quickly opened the letter.. And read it..
[Dear Jake,
It has been 5 years now and we haven't seen you since, we wish we could meet you now but we were chosen to guard the Queen's castle and we're not able to return home.. I hope you understand and that you are well and healthy.. Please take care of yourself and your mother for us..

Thousands of questions were pouring on me.. They were still alive but they can't come home how is this possible why?? Why does the other soldiers get to come home while they can't... I hated this.. I wanted to bring them home but how??
'Jake.. Please let's go home.. ' said mother,
' There.. There is no home for me...!!! ' I shouted and ran across the bridge... My mother called me many times but I didn't listen and I continued to run until there was no sound.. I stopped and began to cry..
' Why do I have to suffer this much!! Why is it only my family!!!!! ' I shouted...
"Do you want some help.. "
A voice came in front of me, he was a man who wore a black hat, a black coat and his other eye had an eye patch.. I asked him..'How can you help me sir...??'.. He simply smiled at me and said, "Do you trust me.." .. I was confused and wasn't able to trust him since he's a stranger but still there was this realization that he could help me so I said, 'Yes'
As soon as I said yes, his hands were glowing I was scared at that moment but I was unable to run away.. He patted my head and then he said..
"Child the power you possess inside of you is really unique.. I hope you can make it as useful as it can be..."
'What are you saying, Mister..?? ' I asked him then there was ice surrounding us.. It gave me a fright..' what is this..?? '
"It's your power.. Now I shall show you where your family is?? " he said.. His words was so confusing but he showed me some kind of a vision, I could see my family being experimented.. There was rage inside me.. These people hurt my family and I shall never forgive them.. At last I thanked the man but he was no where to be seen..
"I hope you can make me meet them so I can take revenge boy.. Hehehe~.. "
The next day,
I opened my eyes and realized I was sleeping while I was at the bridge.. I woke up and suddenly remembered what had happened last night then I tested if I really had powers and I did.. I created ice out of the air.. I was determined to save my family but first I told my mother that I needed to travel.. She didn't question me and asked me the reason she just agreed and packed my belongings in a bag.. She bid me farewell as I was leaving..
This is my story where I am going to save my family.. I went to numerous base where experiments were being held but couldn't find them.. The soldiers weren't surprised to know that I had powers.. They simply attacked me but ended up dying..
The last base was at London.. I went there to investigate but it surprised me that my family was fine.. They even smiled and laughed with the enemy.. I hesitated but there was a voice inside me that kept saying to kill them and save my family.. in the end I attacked...
'Jake....??? Why are you here?!!' my brother said..
'To save you of course.. ' I answered..
My brothers told me that they were alright but I could see needle marks on their hands.. I didn't listen and killed all those who were in the base I was angry..
'What are you doing?!!!' my brother shouted..
'Killing those who harmed you... '
'Who are you?!! You're not Jake..?!! These people are helping us!! '
I was shocked when they said that suddenly I could see the truth.. My family were actually being treated because the government found a way to regenerate tissues and heal serious injuries, they were given special powers like I was.. I screamed......' Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!! '
' Jake!!!!'
'After all this time I was being blinded by you.. But why are you doing this.. ' I shouted..
"Simple.. Because you're my host and I'm the parasite.... " he laughed..."These brothers of yours managed to get a perfect medication .. But on the other hand I got something which was defective.. I suffered while they take all the help from me.. But now I'll take you the one who they care about... Ahahaha..." he shouted and started taking control of my body..
'Jake..... '
Black clouds were surrounding me, I couldn't breathe but I don't want to kill my brothers.. all that sacrifice I can't let it go to waste.. I took control of my body once more... And said my last words to them..
'I.. I'm happy.. I'm happy to see that you're fine.. I'm happy that I could see you again.. I'm happy.. He~.. I'm happy...... Hopefully if there is such thing as reincarnation then.. I would like us to be reincarnated as brothers again'
Even if I said I was happy I still... Still wish we could've met differently...
I created an ice dagger and killed myself...
"What are you doing?!!!! No..... " The voice slowly disappeared and I fell to the ground..
' Jake!!!!!!! No......... ' my brothers came running towards me..
' Is he?? '
' No... He's not.. He's.. ' my first brother cried.. And so did the others..
' I can heal him.. ' said my second brother,
' It's not possible.. These wounds can't be healed.. ' said my first brother..
' But why??? ' said my second brother..
' Because I don't want to be alive.. This is why I told you I was happy, I can't live while knowing I've been used and killed all these innocent people.. I can't.. ' I said while crying..
' Jake.. You... ' my second brother was crying..
'Then rest in peace.. Jake.. ' said my third brother..
' You can rest now.. Leave it to us.. ' said my first brother..
The sky was so beautiful today.. My body feels so cold and I couldn't move it at all, my heart is beating slower and slower.. I was getting sleepy.. My eyes couldn't stay opened.. And finally my eyes closed on their own and my breathing stopped..
'Jake!!!!!!!!!!! ' my brothers shouted...
Those were the last words I could hear from my brothers.. They were calling me,calling my name..
I suspected that I couldn't trust that man but I still did what he wanted.. I'm such a fool...*smiles*

Authors note: Hello readers.. Thank you for reading now I created this story for fun and also because I want to tell everyone that we can't fully trust strangers no matter what.. As you can see Jake knew he couldn't trust the stranger but he trusted him in the end.. And what he got in return was his own death..
