Henry has no time to spend for his family these days... because he was totally occupied by his works... That was a Sunday...he got some time to enjoy his leisure with his family..But he had not too much affection with his father ...he thought he is okay on his own company.
His family includes his wife Diana,son Nick.,and a lots of servants....and his dad also stayed there..
They were not short of money yet there were totally short of time ...even his wife Diana was fully occupied with her work...
Henry's son and his father ....were so close that they spent all the time together...
One day... Henry's father had a deadly disease..it turned out to be cancer..
Henry thought it was another headache..and he added more servants to take care of him..
Now even Nick was also prohibited to see his grandpa..He was left alone in a room..
Henry didn't think his father doesn't need a royal service but a family's love..
Diana also didn't realise..
Due to their carelessness, the caretaker of grandpa started to give less importance for grandpa too..
Eventhough the treatment went so well, Doctors got a wealthy bag of money..
No body knew what that grandpa undergoes all these time..
That caretaker didn't even spend time to care for that grandpa..
He was given an old plate to eat..
He was given a low taste food..
Diana noticed the plate which was stinky.. yet she thought he deserves it..."the old plate is as old as him.."she giggled...telling his son like this... Nick was silent ..
Nick told Henry that his grandpa needs you to spend time with him..but Henry insisted "dear...when did you become a grown up!?.. I know what I have to do.."
Nick..With puppy eyes..."please dad...your dad needs you..."
Somehow Nick's words pricked Henry's heart..so he said finally,"I'll see him tomorrow and talk with him.."
Because time has decided a different thing already..
Next day,that grandpa was dead in his bed..
Henry was shocked...by this sudden death..
Doctors informed that his tumors were unconditionally grew that's why he was dead..
At first,Henry and his wife were worried then they thought..."we all are gonna die someday right?"..But grandson Nick had a lots of worries inside which can't fade with time... after a few days after that grandpa's funeral, all his things were removed from his room..and that room was decided to be given to Diana's sister who was a teen girl...
All the things were being removed from his grandfather's place..Nick was so worried to see all these happenings.
Henry was also watching the process..
Now a servant was taking that grandpa's stinky plates from his room..
Nick instantly ran to that servant...
Henry was shockingly watching what Nick was doing..
Nick told them suddenly," Don't throw this plate to dustbin... cause when my father gets old too.then I have to use this ...so it's better to keep this..."
Those words made Henry speechless..
He realised his mistakes all these time..
Money..money..money..he ran after money...not for his father..His father was the one who showed Henry the whole world..
He had a quick recall of all his past days with father..
Tears were falling from his eyes..
Nick again asked seeing Henry.."Dad...I don't want to waste that plate..I want to use it for you.."
Those words made Henry more sad..
Henry...'"I'm sorry..son...I was a stupid the whole time...no body should treat his father like I did...I'm the worst son in this whole world..."
Nick smiled a little cause now he knows Henry knows his mistakes.
They hugged both missing his granpa and his father..
So now it's no use...cherish the older people who are with you..treat them with all your gentleness and kindness..
What you sow ...what you reap..
Practice what you preach.
Spend some time with your elders cause not everything is found on Google..
