In the morning I know it was just a dream

A moon that would never gleam

You're are like a dream of moon

dream that can never bloom

At least this dream could last longer

A moment in time, that I'd savor

But you know, I know you aren't in love with me

I try to ignore, it's hard to be free

And it hurts, deep down in my heart

it tears me apart, right from the start

I know we'll never be hand in hand,

Walking down the aisle, or playing in the sand,

But in my dreams, I'll always see,

The thought of losing you, fills me with dread,

And tears fall down, like raindrops on my bed,

I know we are falling apart,

With tears in my eyes, I'm not ready to depart
