Anna was lying on the hospital bed everyone was waiting for her to be conscious. It was a heart transplant surgery she have been through she firmly opened her eyes and found her fiance standing in front of her.

After two weeks she got discharged from the hospital and came to her house. The house was full of her family members and relatives but still her eyes were finding only one person.
Asap the days were going and she was able to walk now properly by herself.
She went to a building and knocked on the door. It was room no.142 but nobody answered then after waiting for an hour she went back. Next day again she came knocked and nobody answered this keeps on going till a week when an old man came and asked if she is finding the owner.
The old man called her inside his house serves her coffee and asked her to have some conversations with him.
He started telling him about the man next-door anna was finding.
Well I know him from last 5 years, the first day he shifted here was not so good i thought of him as a gangster but the fact he wasn't like that he was totally opposite of that.
Though he never give a fuck about those who doesn't like him but at that night he came home all drunk wasn't even able to open the door.
I asked him and his eyes were all red, he started crying and told me to leave him alone maybe he was heartbroken or someone important to him might have left.
It was 25th feb...

The old man didn't reacted he kept on going...
That night was actually a terrible night for him he was truly in love with that person he told me next day everything.
Well yeah you usually get hurt it's obvious and yeah he was willing to do anything for that person, he was actually a loyal and very trustworthy man though he act tough but he got a soft side in him.
And after that day he used to prefer being alone, i don't know why he was deeply in love with her and that's why he keep on getting hurt.
Anna was quietly listening to him and was holding her tears in.
The old man still didn't noticed...
I don't know why the girl can't see his love when even a bird in the sky can tell how much he loved her. Haha maybe the girl doesn't want to see or she doesn't even know how much he cares for her.
The old man halts in between and took some medicines the sun was half set.
Hmm would u like to have some snacks he asked her.
Anna nodded
He brought some marshmallows and roasting them near the fire place.
The mood was again set and he started telling her again.
Well next day to engagement of the girl he didn't came home all day and all night. He do told me he was with her dead mother.
And at 10 june he went to see off that girl ,she was going to italy for studies.
You know what dear it's so heart breaking seeing him doing all of this for her happiness.
he did want to stop her but he didn't cuz he wants her to go and live her life.
Well he didn't stopped her but all he could do just wait and wait for her....
it's been 6 months the girl calls him every night but only asks if he is fine and then hang up.
But after few weeks she stopped calling him also ,he keeps on waiting for her call but since two weeks of his last months she didn't called him.
He gets to know the girl is back and went to meet her. 3rd jan, he was tensed and broken again he told me that the girl is in hospital.
She had an accident last week he keep on visiting her but the girl was unconscious and then from her fiance he gets to know that their is a need for heart transplant, they all are finding a suitable donor for her.
After that day he just came once here and maybe the girl is dead or alive i don't know...
He must have moved on cuz he actually saw her fiance crying in the hospital waiting and praying to god for her wellness.
I don't know anything what happened after that...
but here take the keys to his apartment, he told me to give to the girl who'll visit him first.

Anna was left in confusion, she opened the door and saw that the house was in a mess even that cute wind chime she gifted him on his birthday was swinging...
she open the windows cuz the apartment was little suffocating.
And their she found a file on the table....
XYZ hospital...
wow!! It's the same hospital where i had the surgery...
was he suffering from some disease or anything like that?
She opened the first page and dropped the file....
