A middle school boy was going back to his home from school, his clothes were dirty , some scratches here and there , he had a blank face , his eyes were dull as if nothing matters to him.
A huge truck passed from beside and as it rained before he was soaked in the muddy water but he was not effected at all , he started walking again . Then he heard some voices coming from beside he turned on a whim, but what he saw was that some kids who seemed to be in kindergarten were bullying a kid, as same as their age the boy was crying and those kids were teasing him that's what it looked from a distance .The kid and his eyes meet . The kid had a hopeful expression he was expecting some help .But the middle school boy was leaving as it was not his concern . The kid saw it and loudly shouted "Help!!" big bro.."
Those words struck the middle school boy as if a lighting struck him. He remembers the scene when he was being bullied and needed help but nobody helped him .He pleaded for help but what he got were just mockery .His blank eyes became coloured again and he ran with his full speed to where those kids were and shouted on the bullies . Those kids left crying. That kid was still crying and crying .The middle school boy scratches his head and rolled his eyes here and there because he also don't know what to say to stop this kid from crying. Then he remembered when he was a kid and when he got hurt what his mother did.He hugged the kid and patted his head and said"It's okay.. nothing is going to happen to you."
The kid stopped crying but his eyes were still teary he saw here and there and found that those kids already left who was teasing him then he saw the big brother who saved him. A bright smile appeared on the kids face seeing that he also smiled ."Thanks big brother." This time the kid hugged him
"Huh.. it's. okay.."
He didn't know how to react because it was the first time someone other than his mother showed kindness to him.
"Big brother I have to go"
"Would you be fine by yourself?"
"Yep my house is near and today my mom is cooking my favourite food ."Hehe"
"Oh okay. "
Before going the kid waved three to four times.
"Bye big brother.."
"Bye"
The middle school boy's face become sad again not blank like before but a bit of sadness can be seen.
.. ...
"I am home"
"Oh you're home honey"?
"Yeah ... mom I am going in my room."
His mom notices his scars but acted as if they were not there.
She knew how hurt he was but what she can do.
There was a time when she called the teacher and complaint about it but the teacher couldn't do anything as those kids were from a wealthy family.

The next day.
"Thanks for the breakfast. I am going now " (in a slow voice)
He was sad again he was bored from this kind of life, he helped the kid but who's going to save him.
"Huh?!"
He heard a voice it was a similar voice he heard yesterday.
"Big brother!!" ( the kid saw his sad expression)
"Mom!! he is the big brother I told you about see ."
The kid was saying this while holding and shaking his mother's hand.
"Thanks for taking care of him yesterday".
"You're. .. welcome"
"Okay we're leaving, you also has school and I don't want to be late because of us"
"Yes miss .. you're right"
"Bye big brother"... after he left
"Mom he was sad "

"See who's here"
"Haha the dumb kid came who just come to school for show"
"You're just a burden on earth"
"Yeah a useless freak"

The boy said nothing, he was used to this already.
"You know what you are a weirdo .. why do you even come..
"Hey the teacher is coming."
"So students today we're going to talk about.."
... ...
"So this was all for today"
The bell rang everyone was leaving.
The boy was packing his bag but a boy came and kicked his desk.
Then another kid stepped on his books" why you need books. . you're just useless ."
He was picking his books but then that guy even stepped on his fingers.
He don't know what to do then.. the kids smiling face came to his mind, he also remember that in night.. how his mother crys because she can't do anything for him.
His face was burning with anger 'I am not useless!!!'
He stared at those kids.( or emitted murderous intent).They were terrified because of his face expression. When he was getting up they left in a hurry.
He was like that even on his way back.The kid came from behind saying like usual"Big brother"
Even the kid was terrified when he saw his face, form seeing the kids face he was back to normal .
The kid was not terrified now and talked casually to him , the kid knew he was sad so he started talking about himself to cheer him up.
"You know big brother .. those who were bullying me yesterday were saying I am useless"
The boy face had a shocking expression .
"I started crying and then they teased me more and more. "
"Yesterday when you helped me I was happy and I kinda want to become strong or to say .. um wanted to show you that I am not useless."
"So yesterday I prepared for my test and today I got full marks .."
"The teacher praise me and they can't even say anything to me."
"It's all because of you big brother"!
The kid smiled
"Thank you"

"Oh .. I have to go my mom is here".
"Bye"
The boy muttered something.
"I know what I need to do "
