Sarah was in her senior high school years. She is in grade 11 in a new school she entered. At first she was so nervous because she is a new student. It was also her first time entering a University.
As she entered the campus, she was a bit shock how big it is. She ask the guard where she can look for her classroom number. As she checked , she soon began looking for it.
At last she saw the room , she was thrilled even she is nervous. It was her first time having so many classmates.
Everything went well , until she had a crush to a person. She talked to Shawn every time she has time. She also became close to one of his friends Jason.
Jason and Sarah had been messaging about Shawn. They would talked about Shawn every time. Sarah was so admired, but Jason told Sarah that Shawn already had a girlfriend.
Sarah was so down that she didn't bother Shawn unlike the past months. Jason comforted Sarah and talked to her until midnight.
Sarah was falling for Jason and she shared her story to her boy bestfriend Mark.
Mark supported Sarah for having a crush on Jason.
" If I where you Jason, court the girl you like. " Mark said to Jason.
" But she liked somebody already " Jason replied.
I bump into their conversation.
"Oww... who's that girl? " I teased him.
" No one 😅 " Jason replied.
" Hmp..." I said and walked away.
It was break time and me and my girl friends always eat together.
" Hey...I thought you loved Shawn " Janna said.
" Yeh Sarah, I also thought you liked Shawn" Patricia said too.
" hehehe I don't think his single anymore " I said.
" Owww where did you get that information " They asked.
" Jason told me, we where talking about Shawn last month and he had told me that Shawn has a girlfriend already " I answered.
We ate our lunch and went back to our room. As I entered Jason approached me and tell stories.
" Have you seen the anime about..." he said.
" yes I was so thrilled about its teaser for season 2 " I excitedly said.
And our teacher came in and we went to our sits.
1hr and 1/2 had passed and the proof went out. I started packing my things until Jason walks towards me.
" Hey you are going to be a dentist right? " he asked.
" Yeh why? " I asked
" I heard that A dentist and a lawyer are great partners in life " he said.
I smiled at him and said " Really! " in surprise.
December came and it's already Christmas. We are having a Christmas party. We picked Ames from the bowl and checked the username.
The username that I will give a gift is " Cutie " so I assumed it's a girl.
My family went shopping a week before the party. As I bought what was in the wish list of cutie , I received a text from Shawn.
( Hey, do you mind if I asked what is a planner ? ) Shawn texted.
I was in shock like for 10 sec. And replied to him back.
( Ah what kind? Like a year planner? or Journal one? ) I asked.
After texting Shawn I texted Jason.
( Hey Jason , Shawn texted me. Did he texted you ) I asked Jason.
I went looking for my parents so we could check out the gift that I am planning to buy. While I am at a long line my phone vibrates.
( No, what did he tell you ?) Jason asked.
( About this planner ) I said.
I was thinking if Shawn had pick my username. Because in my wish list I wrote Planner. Another text came in.
( My sister needs a planner..do you mind coming with me? ) Shawn said.
( Ow...okay where you at? ) I asked.
My parents came and we are next in line. As the cashier is punching the items I heard someone called my name.
" Sarah! " someone shouted.
I looked around and saw Shawn with his sister.
" Mom I go with my friend and his sister. He needs my help " I told Mom and she lets me go.
" Wow didn't know you guys are here " I said.
" Oww...I saw you a while ago that's why I texted you if you could help me and my sis " he said.
" well great timing since we are here " I said
I looked at her sister and she seems confused. I lead the way to the planner section.
" What kind of planner do you like? " I asked his sister.
" I don't have any idea about it. I would like anything that you will choice " she said.
" Ok then I will try looking for a good one " I said happily.
As I found one, I handed it to Shawn and wave goodbye. I looked for my parents and as soon I saw them we head home.
I prepared my self for the night and fixed the gift for the Christmas party. I then work with my homework. And as soon I am ready to sleep I looked at my phone.
( Hey you up? ) Jason texted.
( What's up...do you need a help? ) I asked.
( Nothing I am planning to have some bonding with the guys...wanna join? ) He said.
( I wanted but I will just be a burden to your group of friends ) I said.
( Come on they are the ones who wanted you to come ) He said.
( really...ok then when will it be? ) I asked.
( Not yet sure they say after Christmas party , I guess ) he said.
( Ok let me know when then ) I replied and went to sleep.
The week passed and everyone is thrilled for the Christmas party. We are now preparing our room for tomorrow's party. We all went home late and exhausted.
The officers also told us to follow the theme of the party. So I looked for a cloth that would fit to the theme. I picked A red jumper with a plain white shirt and shoes to pair it up.
I prepared my cloth , and the bag I will use tomorrow. I again check my phone and saw a text.
( See you tomorrow ) from Jason and Shawn.
My heart skip a beat. But I don't know for who. All I know for now I liked Jason. Since he was always by my side. He talked to me every time I feel alone and invites me with his friends.
But I know he likes someone else. And that girl would be so lucky to have Jason. Arrghhh......I need to sleep and enjoy the party tomorrow.
I was assigned to bring an Ice cream for the whole class. I also bought some cones in case for those who like sugar cones.
"Ey..let me take that you bought to many things " Shawn said as soon he saw me entering the school campus.
" Ow thanks " I said.
As we are walking I saw Jason waving his hand. I then waved my hands and he walks towards me and Shawn.
" Let me carry that " Jason said and grab my bag behind me.
" Ah thanks " I said and walk altogether until we entered our room.
I run towards my friends and hug them.
" Sarah your bag " Jason said and handed my bag.
And as I grab the bag from Jason , my friends started teasing me.
" Thank you Jason " I said.
" Sarah I think you have change " Janna said
" Yuh it seems you like Jason " Pat whispered.
"Stop it... " I said. And I grab my camera from the bag and we started taking pics.
The party started and we played many games and we had a King and Queen of the party.
Shawn had won the king , and Mics won the Queen.
We enjoyed eating especially the dessert. After eating Jason talks to me.
" Hey can you grab a pic of me with Abbie " He said.
" Ow sure " I simply reply.
Abbie was the girl he liked. Wow...the camera that I am using was Polaroid that's why he wanted a pic. I take a pic of them and gave it to him as a gift.
"Thanks Sarah " he said.
Our adviser started calling our attention.
" Let's start the exchange gift " He said.
We started exchanging gifts and laugh. Until Shawn was picked.
" tell something about the person " Mae shouted one of our classmate.
" Well this person she helped me pick this one , and I knew her it's Sarah " he said.
I was shocked about it and didn't know how would I react. I approached him slowly and shy.
" I hope you are surprised " he said
" I am really surprised " I replied.
And the Cutie username was Patricia she was so in shock. She even said that if she knew I was the one who picked her name she would list an expensive one.
The party ended and I started packing. Me and my friends wanted to have a mini bonding that's why we booked an Uber.
Me and my friends went to a cafe that was themed as Harry Potter. We had so much fun and went home a little late of our curfews.
But our parents told us it's fine as long as everyone had went home safe. As I went I looked at my phone and received a message from Jason.
( See you tomorrow at the mall 12:00 pm ) he texted
( sure sure see you too ) I replied.
I prepared myself and went to bed.
The next day, I went to shower and fixed my bag for later. I asked my dad if he can drop me off to the mall and he said yes.
My dad drop me too the mall and I searched for Jason , Shawn , Mark and their other friends. As I saw them Chloe, Micheal walks towards me and hugged me.
We walk around the mall and stop at the bowling area. We played a little game and went to billiards.
Shawn has great skills in it. While Jason has skill in bowling. Mark sat beside me and talked about anime and other stuff.
" Sarah wanna play? " Jason asked.
" Sorry I don't know how to play it " I replied.
" Come on , Shawn can teach you the basic " Jason said.
" No really , you just enjoy your game" I said.
But Shawn grab me and teach me. And yes he was behind me. I don't know what to do. But I just went with the flow of it. He had taught me the basic and we started playing.
The day passed and we are all exhausted. We went to eat and went home. On my way home I texted Jason.
( thanks for the great day ) I simply said.
( No worries I have enjoyed also ) he said.
Christmas break came. All I have done was enjoyed the family bonding. Sleep in the house of my cousins in different places. We went to the resort and visited some relatives.
