Do you believe in Apparitions or ghosts well if yes then let's move on but if no then you re in for a spooky treat because today we will talk about the seven wonders of the school.
There are seven wonders but today we will be talking about the fifth of the seven wonders; The 4 o'clock Library.
Let's first introduce all the seven wonders
1. The clock keepers
2. The misaki stairs
3. Hell of mirrors
4. Shijima-san of the art room
5. The 4 o'clock Library/bookstacks
6. The god of death
7. Hanako the bathroom ghost.
The Fifth of the seven wonders, the 4 o'clock Library.
It is a normal library at school but if you go there by 4pm, you will encounter a boundary between the living and the dead. This library has the records of the students in the school; past and future. But here is the dangerous part, white books are for the living, black for the dead and red are the ones that must not be opened,but keep something in mind you cannot change your future no matter what you do.
Now that we know about the Fifth of the seven wonders let's continue with our story.
Chapter 1
Everyone wants to grow up and know their future and how it plays out, they get curious about what the future has in store for them.
That's what I'm curious about too, the way my life is playing out right now I wonder how it will end up in future
"You are still thinking about your future again, Fuyumi?"
"Maki I can't help it, my life is currently a mess, I wonder how my future is"
"Why not try fixing the present first?"
"It's useless to do so"
"..."
"Might as well try the trending 4 o'clock Library"
"Pfft, you believe in that crappy story, hahaha (^0^)"
"It's not crappy?!(0_0)9"
"My advice don't try it"

"Don't let your curiosity take over you"
"(@_@) fine"
"Good"
"..."
"Anyways I'll be needing your help at the Library" Maki said as he pulled Fuyumi out of her chair
"(•_•)" this is an opportunity for me to try the 4 o'clock thing
"I'll advice you to not think of trying the crappy story you are hearing about"
"(0^0) I won't"
"Now let's go"
Maki dragged her to the library, he showed her a few books and how he arranged them, he looked so handsome with his white hair and classic square glasses and his eyes, her cheeks reddened as she continue to stare at him
"Fuyumi the books won't arrange themselves"
"Oh I'm sorry, (@////@)"
Maki smiled and took the books from her hands he placed them on the table and held her hands
"M-maki, what's going on?"
"Fuyumi" he whispered her name and leaned forward
"M-maki (@/////@)"
"You are arranging the books the wrong way"
"Huh (•_•)"
Maki said and showed her the right way to arrange the books, her face was as red as a tomato as he pulled her cheeks playfully
"Am I that handsome that you can't take your eyes off me?"
"(@/////@) yes...I mean.... umm....I...."
Maki chuckled and helped her arrange the remaining books
It was already closing when the duo were done arranging and cleaning up the library
"(@~@) I'm so exhausted!" Fuyumi groaned as she stretched
"You see it's not easy being a library prefect"
"(@~@)yeah" Fuyumi sighed and looked at her wristwatch 4:35pm
"Still thinking about the crappy story?" Maki said as he leaned forward till his lips were at her ear, he blew air into her ear and she squealed
"M-maki, you damn perv (@//////@)"
"Hehehe"
"I'll leave now, goodnight Maki"
"Mn good night Fuyumi"
The next day
Maki missed school today, he said his little brother fell ill so he gave me his job as the library prefect for today, he actually sent me a message
Maki: Fuyumi baby
Fuyumi: stop calling me that(≥°0°≥)/!
Maki: I can't make it to school today
Fuyumi: why?
Maki: my lil bro is terribly sick
Fuyumi: oh I'm sorry to hear that
Maki: I'm handing my responsibility as the library prefect to you just for today ok
Fuyumi: oh ok
Maki: and also don't try that crappy story
Fuyumi: (*👅*) I'll try
Maki: Fuyumi
Fuyumi: ok ok
He warned me but my curiosity of my future was building with every second that passed by
This is my chance I squealed in my head
At School
It was 2pm and it seemed like the day would never end, but still she was still hopeful. The bell for gardening practice rung and everyone assembled downstairs, everyone had changed into house clothes and we began to work, I was nurturing a set of ornamental plants, it was beautiful the lilac ones reminded me of Maki's eyes

The bell for the end of gardening class rung and everyone left, I hurriedly took a shower and changed into my uniform. The time was 3:57pm.
The time was 3:59pm when she got to the library, she was panting heavily as she turned the key to the door of the library. The hour hand of her watch struck 4 and she went in
Chapter 2
The library looked the the same nothing changed at all.
Disappointed she turned around and was about to leave when a butterfly with dark lilac wings landed on her nose and flew back into the library.
She gasped when she turned around the neat row of books had turned into a long row of dusty books, some white some black what about the red books she didn't see any red books. Well it's time to find my book.
Another butterfly came out of nowhere and flew to a row with white books, Fuyumi followed it and it finally rested on a white book with her name on it 'Fuyumi Mukami'
"This is my book?"
The butterfly flew away and she took the book and opened it, she got bored of reading her past
"Let's see if the rumors are true"
She flipped the pages of the book and came to red page that had a label 'Future' it was written in Japanese
"Here goes...."
She flipped the pages and began to read, tears formed at the corners of her eyelids as she read her future, she flipped to the next page and...
"Meets the fifth of the seven wonders....what does these mean? I'm already in the fifth of the seven wonders!"
She was still confused when the book started to turn red
"What? It was white few minutes ago!"
The lilac butterflies from before came swarming at her and knocking her off the ladder, she yelped as she lost her balance,
"Aaaaaaaaaaaah!"
She felt cold arms wrap around her and stopped her from hitting the floor
"Didn't I tell you to stay away from the Library?!"
Opening her eyes slowly, she looked at the person that addressed her, a shocked gasp escaped her lips
"M-maki!"
It was Maki but he looked different his eyes where darker than the normal lilac she saw everyday, his bangs were longer and they covered his right eye, his fangs were also longer than normal.
"You are just too stubborn" he groaned
"What happened to you Maki?" Fuyumi said as she touched his ears, they had elongated and made him look like an elf, her eyes were filled with fear and shock
"Humans love ghost stories but they never take it seriously until someone experiences it, I warned you to stay away from the Library, didn't I? You didn't listen"
"Maki I-i'm sorry, I.... I...."
"Ugh...keep quiet!" he groaned and let go of her, she crashed to the ground and a painful yelp escaped her lips
"Ouch!"
"Let me guess the books turned red because you couldn't help yourself and read the future?"
"Umm..." Maki sighed
"Reading the future doesn't mean you can somehow change it, you should atleast fix the present it might lessen the burden on you"
"..."
"By reading the future you've endangered yourself?"
"How?"
"Reading the future, you already know what you are not supposed to know..."
"Huh?!"
"...apart from knowing my identity as the fifth wonder what else did you see?"
"I saw......"
"Hmm, you see now reading the future can't help your present"
Fuyumi sank to the floor, her uniform got soiled with her tears as she uncontrollably yelled and cryed, Maki shook his head
"Look" he said and pointed to a figure behind one of the shelves, she turned around and a bloodcurdling scream escaped her lips
"What is that?!"
"An apparition"
The figure came out of the shelf and stared intently at Fuyumi
"I-is that me?" the figure was grotesque, it's neck was broken and its arms were twisted backwards, blood seeped endlessly from its cuts and twisted places. The figure started making sounds that were unpleasant to the ears.
"Hmph!" Maki grinned
"Maki what's happening?"
"Procedures"
Chapter 3
"Procedures"
"Procedures?"
"Yes, when a human crosses the boundaries of the living and the dead, the apparitions that dwell in that boundary will follow the procedures, humans call it 'torment', the apparitions will only stop if the human has moved on or become one of them"
"What?!" Fuyumi asked as she squeezed the pleats of her skirt
"Yes Fuyumi, you now see why I warned you..... although there is another problem"
"Huh?!"
The figure charged at Fuyumi, it came into light and Fuyumi felt her blood drain from her body, it's eyes were out of their sockets but they were swinging around with the cords that held them
"Maki help me please!"
"!!!!"
Maki snapped his fingers and four hands came out from his coat, he smiled and looked at the figure
"You are trying to touch what belongs to me" the figure growled and charged at Maki
"Maki!"
There was a loud bang like metal hitting a wall, the painful groans of the figure filled the air and Fuyumi covered her ears, snap! the figure fell to the floor and disintegrated
"That was easy" Maki sighed and looked at Fuyumi, she was quivering so much he could her he teeth chatter, he smiled and bent down to her level
"Humans love ghost stories but they never take them seriously, until someone experiences it or gets cursed" he laughed in a mocking tone and tilted his head to the left and stared into her light Jade eyes
"You've seen too much, let's go" he said as he pulled her up and carried her like a bride
"How did you become this Maki?"
"I'll tell when the time is right" Fuyumi planted her head into his chest and she got enveloped by the smell of lavender

"Fuyumi..."
"Y-yes@////////@"
"You are squeezing my shoulder" Maki said through gritted teeth
"I'm so sorry @///////@"
Maki sighed and kissed her forehead, Fuyumi's heartbeat went through the roof
"M-maki you damn perv@/////@"
"Hehehe"
"Umm...Maki what was the problem you wanted to tell me about?"
"Now that you read the future and the books turned red, different apparitions will be after you"
"Why?!"
"... because you look delicious"
"(°0°)/! whaaaaaaaaa-"
"Calm down I'm just messing with you" Maki chuckled and Fuyumi heaved a sigh of relief
"Stop messing around"
"Fine...other apparitions will be after you to take your body"
"@/////@ huh?"
"There are some desperate apparitions that are looking for humans to swap places with"
"Oh my gosh, what did I get myself into?" Maki chuckled darkly and grabbed her neck
"I warned you to stay away right?"
Fuyumi looked away to avoid his gaze that seemed to bore deep into her
"There is a way to keep you safe though"
"What way?"
"There will be a price though"
"What price?"
"You know I can't say till you agree"
'oh yeah in the world of apparitions, if you wish or demand for something, the apparitions will give it to you but at a price that they see as fit'
"Do you agree?"
"How will you keep me safe?"
"I'll be your personal bodyguard" Maki said as he leaned forward
"Ok I agree"
A mischievous smile spread across Maki's lips
"As for how you'll be paying me... you'll use your body"

Maki chuckled and held her chin up with his index finger
"It's time to pay Fuyumi baby"
"Umm...Maki can we postpone the payment?"
'Fuyumi's face was cherry red as clung unto the lapels of Maki's coat
"There is no postponement, Fuyumi" Maki whispered and lowered his head to her neck
Fuyumi tried pushing him away but he was too strong
"Maki, what do you want to do?"
"This" Maki grinned and Fuyumi let out an ear-piercing scream, she put her hands on Maki's head to push him away but she was no match for him, the collar of uniform felt warm with some liquid on it, blood
"Maki stop!" Fuyumi yelled as she hit him on his head but he didn't budge instead he took her hands and trapped them behind her back
"Just stay still" he whispered against her skin, he bit her again and this time Fuyumi let herself loose as tears flooded her cheeks. Maki tightened his grip on her hands and finally released her
"Maki..." her cheeks were wet with tears
"I'm sorry it was the only way"
"Huh?"
"I bit you to mark you as mine so no other apparition can claim you, it also has a protection charm to protect you from vicious apparitions"
Maki sighed and wiped the blood on his lips, he leaned forward and kissed the wound on her neck, the wound slowly closed up then a number 5 written in Japanese appeared on her neck
Fuyumi touched it and closed her eyes
"Don't worry humans can't see it only apparitions can"
"Oh"
"You and I have entered into a bond now, we'll share a lot of things you know"
"@//////@ a bond with Maki... this is like a dream come true but in a terrible way but I'm still happy, Maki was now like my boyfriend?'
"Hey what are you thinking?" Maki tilted his head
"@/////@ nothing"
"You dirty girl!"
"I'm not dirty if there is anyone dirty here it's you(*0*)/!"
"Oh really" Maki said and pinned her to the wall closest to him
"Ok fine you are not dirty..."
Maki smirked in triumph
"...you are a one of a kind freaking pervert!" With this Fuyumi ran away from the Library
"Hmph"
Chapter 4
Maki and I had entered into a bond and therefore we've been linked across the border of life and death, it was then I realized...
"M-maki!"
"Yes"
"Let's stop someone might see us"
"I don't care"
"...but"
"Just keep moving" he groaned as beads of sweat ran down his face
"O-ok"
"..."
"@//////@, I really think we should stop, Maki"
"Fine" Maki sighed and let go of her
"There"
"You could have just arranged the books instead of worrying that someone might see me carrying by your waist" he said and tilted his head to the left
"@///////@, damnit Maki you are such a perv" she yelled and punched his arm
"Ouch!"
"Serves you right"
"Oh really"
The temperature of the room dropped as Maki stared at her muderously
"Ok I take it back you are not a perv! T^T"Fuyumi said as she hid behind a shelf
"Hehehe" Maki grinned widely and leaned on the table behind him with his head resting on his knuckles
"You're such a jerk" she whispered
"You said?"
"Huh? Me? I didn't say anything"
It was already week after Maki marked me, we met a few apparitions but Maki protected me as he promised...but staying with him is like torture T^T, he is a jerk and a perv but even so I still want to stay because if I leave his zone...I might end up dead, so it is much safer to stay with him I guess
Fuyumi sighed heavily and stared at Maki, he had fallen asleep...while standing?
"Maybe that's how apparitions sleep?"
She looked at him for a while
'I still find it hard to believe he is the fifth of the seven wonders of the school'
"Well, apparitions cannot exist without their stories being told" a voice echoed through the library
"Who goes there?" Fuyumi said and turned around but no one was there
"I must be hearing things"
"Hello"
A girl was sitting on one of the chairs while holding a chef's knife, she was wearing a white top and red denim skirt, her big black round eyes reflected nothing but darkness and death. Fuyumi stepped back slightly, she knew this person
"Hanako, Hanako, Hanako" Maki chuckled darkly as he grabbed Fuyumi
"Argh!"
"How can I help you number seven?"
"She is the seventh of the seven wonders of the school, Hanako the bathroom ghost!"
"That is correct" Hanako said as she swung her legs playfully
"...but what is she doing here?"
"I came here to meet my new friend, you" Hanako tilted her head to the left whilst pointing her knife towards Fuyumi
Chapter 4
Maki's grip on Fuyumi tightened and she let out a slight howl but Maki didn't budge, the atmosphere was filled with muderous vibes
"um...you guys"
"Wow, Maki! you are so possessive, I'm so jealous!" Hanako said in voice that held resentment, she stood up from the chair and stood in front of Fuyumi her face inches from Fuyumi's
"Humans bonded to apparitions end up miserably, I really pity you...you are beautiful one" Hanako sighed and toyed with Fuyumi's hair, a glint of lust flashed in her eyes, Fuyumi leaned back startled
"I'll take my leave now" she said and turned around, walking into the darkness
"Maki?" Fuyumi stared at the place where Hanako was minutes ago and sighed
"Fuyumi look at me", Maki's voice came out husky and low, she turned around and Maki's hands wrapped around her locking her in place, he stared at her, his dark lilac eyes seemed to bore through her
"Maki, wat's going on?" she said panic vivid in her voice
"You are mine,Fuyumi"

His lips crashed into hers making her knees melt, he tugged her hair from behind making her head loll backwards and exposing her neck, his fangs elongated and he sank them into her neck
"M-maki" she gasped but it didn't hurt like the first time, her vision blurred and finally went black.
Amber eyes watched them silently and Maki's dark lilac eyes smiled with possessiveness that said look-she-is-mine
