"Do you need to go?"
Lui stop walking, staring at his feet. He bite his lips and tighten the hold at the strap of his bag. The guy at his back, Kio, is straightly looking at the beach infront.
Silence filled the two, Lui didn't answer the question. All they can hear is the sound of the water slowly touching the land, again, and again. The cold wind, that it seems comforting the gloomy atmosphere between the two. And the fast heartbeat of Lui.
"Sorry," Lui whisper. "This is wrong." he said and turn his back to face Kio. Kio scoffed and slowly looked at Lui.
"What is wrong?" Kio asked.
"Kio! All we have is wrong! This! This what you called love! This is wrong. We are guy. This is wrong." Lui said, angrily.
"What's wrong with this. I love you. You love me. We are not doing wrong." Kio answered, also being pissed.
"I should've help you that day." Lui said, as the light illuminating thier face.
It all started that day. When the sky is bright and blue. When the leaves are slowly falling and dancing with the wind. It all stared during Autumn.
Lui is running, late because of the traffic. Every step he takes makes the leaves fly inches away from him. His uniform is not fixed. The buttons are not put and the neck tie is not fix properly.
"Damn!" he whisper.
"Lui! You're late again!"a friend shouted. Lui glared at his friend and fixed his neck tie as he put his bag at the table. He put the buttons on and fixed his messy hair.
"Yah. Thank you for stating the obvious." Lui stated. He roll his eyes and sit beside his friend.
"Hey! Let me copy your assignment. I was drunk last night. It was my sister's birthday." Lui said, getting his notebook in the bag. Han, his friend, laughed. Mock Lui to annoy him. Lui glared at him so he stop and get his notebook.
"Here. Here. Geez. Your eyes are scary. You're giving me chills." Han said, give the notebook to Lui. Lui smiled like an innocent child, that give Han more chills. He hug his self and look away.
"OH MY GOD!"
"AAHHH!"
"GO! HIRO! GO HIRO!"
Lui suddenly stop writing because of the noise coming outside thier room. Lui looked at Han, lowkey asking what's wrong. Han just shrugged his shoulders, also don't know what is happening outside.
Out of curiosity, Lui put down his pen and stand, he walk outside to see what is wrong. His eye brows raise when he saw a fight, between Hiro, the popular bastard guy in the school and Kio, the quite and nobody.
Hiro is on Kio's top, punching him repeatedly. Kio is now bleeding, just letting Hiro punch him and not fighting back.
"Ah.. He's stupid." Lui whisper, looking at Kio. He put his hand on her chin. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk." he shook his head.
"Hey! That's enough!" he shouted, full of authority. Everyone stop shouting. And Hiro, who was about to punch Kio stop, his hand is still on the air. Kio and Hiro look at Lui.
"Why are you here?" Hiro asked. Lui is the Student Council President. In just one word, everyone obey. Lui raised a brow.
"The hell? You're outside my room. I should be the one asking you that." he said.
"Don't—"
"Let go." Lui calmy said, looking at Kio.
"I said don't—"
"LET GO!"
Hito tighten his jaw and push Kio, he let go and stood up. He glared at Kio who is laying on the floor. Lui smiled like an innocent kid again.
"Go to your room, everyone" he ordered. Everyone obey him. When they are all gone. Lui slowly walked towards Kio. He stared at his cracked face and laugh a bit. 'Stupid' he thought.
"Hey.." he lightly kick Kio's arm. "Hey! Wake up!" he said.
"You need to go to the clinic." Lui said.
"Carry me." the man said, making Lui's eyebrow raise.
"The fuck?"
Kio open his eyes. At first, he was mesmerized of the guy's face infront of him. It's was beautiful, like a goddesses. Beautiful eyes, perfect nose, pink lips, smooth skin. But he realized, damn that's a guy! He can't like a guy because he is a guy!
"Carry me! My body hurts." he said.
"Damn! What do you think I am?" Lui.
"My savior." Kio said, Lui widened his eyes and blush. He look away.
"Fine!" Lui said. Kio smiled.
Afternoon, Lui visit Kio at the clinic. An action he does not know why he did. He doesn't care for others like that. He don't usually visit his friends at the clinic or carry them to bring there. This is the first time he did it. And, he even bring apple juice for Kio.
"What the hell I am doing?" he whisper. He stop walking when he reach the clinic's door. "What happen to me?" he said and closed his eyes.
"Argh! Why I'm an even wasting my time? He is just a stranger!" he said. He was about to turn his back when the door suddenly open.
"Oh. Hey..." Kio.
Lui feel heat running towards his cheeks. He don't know why he suddenly feel embarrassed. He swallowed hard and slowly face Kio.
"H-hey.." he said.
"What are you doing here?" Kio asked.
"Checking you." Lui answered and give the juice.
Kio widened his eyes, shock. He swallow and accept the juice. For some reason, the corner of his lips rose, forming a smile.
"Thanks" he said.
"A-are you okay?" Lui asked.
"Yah." Kio answered.
Since that day, Kio always follow his savior. And Lui didn't say anything about that. And the friendship started. The of them now are always spending time together. Eating together. Playing together. Going to Lui's place to play computer games.
"I have someone I like," Kio confessed, while they are playing computer games at Lui's place.
Lui stop pushing the buttons, he don't know why he feel disappointed. He look at Kio who is just focused on the screen. He swallow and bite his lips.
"Ah.. T-that's great." he said, but sound sad.
"Are you not gonna asked who?" Kio.
"No." Lui answered. He stood up and walk away. "You can go now. I think I'm having a headache. I need to rest." Lui said and walk towards the bed.
"Ah.. Are you okay? I'm going to buy—"
"No. It's okay. I just need sleep." he said and closed his eyes.
"Ah. Okay. Get well soon." Kio said before heading outside. When Lui heard the door closed he open his eyes again and run towards the window, looking at Kio walking at the streets.
"Damn! What the hell wrong with me!?" he asked. He pull his hair.
"I'm a jealous! Damn! No way! We are friends.. And.. And.. He's a guy! Damn! Damn!"
Week after, Lui started ignoring Kio for some reason. He's finding the answer, he don't know why he feel jealous when Kio said that he have someone he likes.
"Lui." Han shouted.
"Oh? Strange. You're not with Kio. Did the two of you fight?" he asked when he reach Lui. He sat beside him. Lui didn't answer Han, he just continue reading.
"Did you really fight? Wow? What's the reason?" he asked.
"Go away." Lui said, gloomy.
Han smiled and put his arm around Lui's neck. He pinched his cheeks and annoy him. Lui glared at Han but he continue annoying Lui.
"Ahem!" Han stop and look who cough infront of them.
"Can we talk.." he glared at Han. Han got scared and get off his hand around Lui's neck. "Lui" Kio said, turing his gaze to Lui.
"Han. We have an assignment right? Let's go." Lui said and pull Han. Kio shouted Lui's name but he didn't stop. He sigh, staring at Lui walking away.
"What did I do?" he asked her self.
Kio approach Lui again during dismissal but he ignore him again. He didn't want this situation so he go to Lui's house and confront him there what is wrong.
"Lui! Lui! Lui!" Kio shouted as he knocked the door.
"What the hell?" he said.
"K-kio?" He said, shocked.
"Let's talk." Kio said.
"Next time.." Lui was about to close the door but Kio stop him. He open the door again and push Lui inside, he enter the house and lock the door.
"Let's talk." he said again, full of authority.
"Talk about what? Huh?" Lui said, even though he feel nervous.
"Why are you avoiding me?" Kio asked. Lui look away.
"I-I don't know."
"What?"
"I-I don't know."
"What do you mean? What did I do? We're okay last week, what's wrong?"
"I don't know!" Lui shouted. Kio widened his eyes.
"I don't know what's wrong with me! I don't why I'm jealous! I don't know!" Lui yelled.
Silence.
Kio swallowed hard. He doesn't believe what Lui just said.
"W-what?" Kio.
"Argh! Just go!" he said and push Kio. Put Kio hold his hand, pull his closer. Lui got shocked and his heart start beating faster.
"Do you like me?" he asked.
"No!" Lui answered, looking away.
"Yeah. You like me." Kio said, smiling.
"I like you Lui. I like you very much." Kio said, making Lui speechless and breathless.
Before Lui saying a word, Kio put his lips on Lui's lips, owning it. Lui widened his eyes, staring at Kio's closed eyes.
"I like you. Please say something." Kio whisper.
Lui closed his eyes and reach Kio's lips. While they are kissing, he realize something. Right. He like Kio. He like him too.
"I like you too." he whisper.
The kiss become hotter. Kio put his hand on Lui's waist as Lui put his hands on Kio's neck. Kio lift Lui and lay him down on the couch.
"If you ignore me again. I'm going to fuck you until you'll not be able to run away from me, baby." Kio said, penetrate him again and again.
"Ah..." Lui moan.
"So you're my boyfriend now?" Lui asked, leaning at Kio's chest.
"Hmm. Yeah. You're my husband now." he said.
