The alarm rang ⏰
Yoon stretched her body and rubbed her sleepy eyes. Everything was quiet and peaceful, making her want to sleep a little longer.
So, she lay back down again.
But suddenly, her eyes widened.
She jumped out of bed.
She had to get ready for kindergarten.
For the first time, she was late, and she started rushing around her room.
Within fifteen minutes, she finished her morning routine and rushed downstairs.
"Good morning, Dad."
"Good morning, Mom."
Saying that, she grabbed a sandwich, took a bite, and quickly rushed out.
Her parents looked shocked and surprised—not because she was late, but because of how fast she was moving.
They tried to call her, but she didn't hear them.
Five minutes later, she arrived at kindergarten.
The moment the children saw her, they ran toward her, hugging her and giggling.
"Miss Yoon! We missed you!"
"Look, Miss Yoon! my new drawing"
"Miss See my new hairstyle!"
Seeing their excitement, Yoon smiled happily.
After that, she settled all the children into their seats and started the class. As usual, she taught them, and they learned while enjoying every moment.
After work, she went to the dance studio like always.
She teach new steps with new songs, completely focused on dancing.
After finishing, she politely escorted the children out of the studio and said goodbye to them.
Suddenly, her phone lit up.
It was none other than the cafe guy.
"Hey, I'm done with my work. I'm waiting for you at the cafe. Are you done yet?"
Yoon quickly replied.
"Oh, hi. Yes, I just finished too. I'll be there in 10–20 minutes."
After that, she packed her things and headed toward the cafe.
She didn't even get time to change her clothes because she had almost forgotten about their meeting.
When she entered the cafe, she immediately apologized.
"I'm so sorry I'm late. I completely forgot that we were meeting today."
She took a seat.
The cafe guy smiled.
"No, no, it's okay. It's alright. Work is important too. Hehe."
After a few minutes, Yoon looked around the cafe.
Her smile slowly faded.
Her friend was still not there.
She checked her phone once, then looked at him.
"Did she say something? Did she message you?"
The cafe guy froze for a second.
A small silence filled the space between them.
He looked away, hiding the strange expression on his face.
Because he knew the truth.
Her friend didn't message Yoon.
Not because she didn't want to come…
But because he had already made sure their meeting would never happen.
A small lie.
A simple excuse.
That was all it took.
He had watched everything fall into place exactly the way he wanted.
A quiet memory flashed through his mind — the moment he made sure Yoon would be alone today.
No one would interrupt them.
No one would take her attention away from him.
He had waited soo many years for this moment.
And now that he finally had her time, even for a few hours…
He wasn't going to waste it.
After all…
He had spent years watching from a distance.
Waiting.
Planning.
And now, finally, she was sitting right in front of him.
Yoon's expression changed.
Surprise crossed her face.
Because she knew her friend.
She never cancelled plans without telling her first.
Yoon's expression became worried.
"I should call her. I'm just a little concerned… why didn't she tell me anything?"
She reached for her phone.
But before she could press the call button, he spoke quickly.
"Wait."
The sudden panic in his voice made her stop.
Yoon looked at him in surprise.
For a second, he realized he had reacted too quickly.
He immediately controlled himself and smiled.
"Sorry. I just mean… maybe she's tired, or maybe something came up. You can meet her tomorrow and ask her yourself."
He leaned back casually.
"Since we are already here, let's not waste the time we finally got. We can discuss everything today, and tomorrow when she comes, we can tell her what we decided."
He gave a small laugh.
"Don't worry. Sometimes things like this happen."
Yoon hesitated for a moment.
But then she slowly nodded.
"You're right."
She smiled softly.
And that smile was enough.
Inside his mind, one thought repeated again and again.
Finally.
Finally, I get this moment.
A moment where it is just you and me.
For years, I watched you from a distance.
For years, I waited.
And now that I finally have your attention…
I won't let this moment disappear so easily.
As he looked at her, he noticed she was sweating from forehead to her collarbone.
Seeing her sweating and wiping her collarbone sweat make his mind goo crazy.
His obsession went to another level that he start imagining her.
He imagined to grab her waist and pull her closer and tell her that how hot she look without even trying how he never wanted to let her goo how she make him lose his mind...
He was soo into his imagination that he did not realized how he was staring at her.
She look up and when she saw him looking at her nonstop, she waved her hand in infront of his face, then she tapped his shoulder.
"Hey"
Her voice pulled him back.
He blinked.
"Are you okay? You keep staring."
He quickly looked away.
"Huh? Oh… sorry. I didn't realize."
Yoon laughed awkwardly.
"It's okay."
She looked down at the table and smiled.
"Anyway… let's discuss why we came here."
And they started talking.
For the next one - two hours, they discussed their plans.
She explained her thoughts, her worries, and what they needed to do.
He listened.
He nodded.
He acted normal.
But his eyes never stopped watching her.
Because while she thought they were only creating a plan…
To him, this was the beginning of something he had wanted for a very long time.
Finally, they finished deciding everything.
"We'll talk to her tomorrow and finalize everything."
Yoon stood up and smiled.
"Thank you for helping me."
She waved goodbye and walked out of the cafe.
He stayed there.
Watching her leave.
Only when she disappeared from his sight the calm mask faded.
A quiet smile appeared.
His gaze fell on the tissues she'd left.
There were two: one stained with the crimson of her lipstick from where she'd wiped her mouth, and another damp with sweat she'd mopped from her forehead to her collarbone.
A tiny thing that meant nothing to anyone else.
But to him…
He carefully kept those two tissue and he press his lip on the that tissue where her Lipstick stain was visible.
He groaned in pleasure.
It was proof that this moment really happened.
A quiet smile appeared on his face.
"You're finally getting closer to me, My Yoon."
His voice was barely a whisper.
"And this time… I won't let anyone take you away."
