Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a girl named Hana. She was a high school student with big dreams and even bigger feelings. Hana had a crush on a boy named Jun-woo. He was popular, smart, and kind to everyone, except for her. No matter how hard she tried to get his attention, it seemed like he was always avoiding her.
Hana had known Jun-woo for a long time, watching him from a distance as he laughed and joked with his friends. It made her heart flutter every time she saw him smile. But every time she approached him, he would look away or walk past her as if she didn’t exist. This made her wonder if there was something wrong with her.
Determined to impress him, Hana decided to study hard. She wanted to be just as good in school as he was. However, her efforts didn't help her much. Whenever Jun-woo noticed Hana improving in her studies, he simply saw her as a rival instead of recognizing her efforts. This hurt her feelings deeply.
Hana also had a friend named Min-joon. He was sweet, caring, and always had a smile on his face. He had liked Hana for a long time and even confessed his feelings to her several times. But Hana didn’t feel the same way. She appreciated Min-joon, but her heart was set on Jun-woo.
One sunny afternoon, while hanging out with her friends at the park, Min-joon gathered the courage to confess his love for Hana once more. "Hana, I really like you," he said, looking nervous but sincere. Hana felt uncomfortable and was about to say no when she noticed Jun-woo walking nearby. He looked serious, almost angry, and that sight gave her an idea. Maybe if she agreed to date Min-joon, it would make Jun-woo jealous.
Taking a deep breath, Hana smiled weakly at Min-joon and said, "Okay, I will give it a try." Min-joon’s face lit up, and he hugged her tightly, making her feel warm inside. He showered her with gifts and treats, as his family was wealthy. At that moment, Hana felt guilty but convinced herself that this was necessary to get Jun-woo’s attention.
As they spent more time together, Hana started to see a different side of Min-joon. He was kind, fun, and so thoughtful. They laughed and shared stories, and slowly, Hana began to like him more than she expected. However, she still found herself caught up in thoughts of Jun-woo, wondering if he would ever notice her.
One day, while she was hanging out with Min-joon in the school cafeteria, she watched as Jun-woo walked in with his friends. Her heart raced as he looked around. She thought maybe today would be different, but he once again only glanced her way before talking to his friends. She felt a twinge of disappointment.
That evening, Hana decided it was time to come clean to Min-joon. She wanted to tell him that she was pretending to date him to get Jun-woo's attention. But just as she was about to speak, she overheard Min-joon talking to his friend, Yu-jin. They were laughing, and she caught some words that made her heart drop.
“Yeah, I’m just pranking Hana. She thinks I really like her!” Min-joon said with a chuckle. The laughter echoed in Hana’s ears, and the ground seemed to shake beneath her. Suddenly, everything felt unreal.
Heartbroken and filled with anger, she turned and ran away from the cafeteria, tears streaming down her face. She couldn’t believe that Min-joon was just playing with her feelings, and now she didn’t know who to trust. As she ran into the school’s empty hallway, she didn’t notice Jun-woo following her.
"Hana, wait!" Jun-woo called out. She stopped when she heard his voice but didn’t turn around. She didn’t want to face him. Maybe this was just more rejection, more pain she didn’t want to feel. But when he reached her, he gently turned her around.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, concern in his eyes. His voice was softer than she expected, and she felt a flicker of something in her chest.
“Why do you care?” she replied, trying to hide her tears. “You’ve ignored me for so long, Jun-woo. What does it matter now?”
Jun-woo looked hurt. “I didn’t mean to ignore you. I... I just didn’t know how to talk to you. I thought you didn’t want anything to do with me.”
Hana’s heart raced. Could this be true? “But you were always nice to everyone else,” she said.
“I know, and I’m sorry. I guess I was scared,” he admitted, scratching his head awkwardly. “I didn’t want to make things weird.”
This was a moment she never expected. As they stood there, looking into each other’s eyes, Hana felt her heart start to heal. “I thought I liked you, but… it was complicated.”
“Maybe we can figure it out together,” Jun-woo suggested, offering a small smile.
As Hana looked into his eyes, she realized something important. Whatever happened, she wanted to be honest about her feelings. She took a deep breath and nodded, allowing a faint smile to form on her face, hoping for a new beginning.
she ran back to the cafeteria, took a drink from the plate Min-joon was with a dump it on his head , I don't want to ever see you near me again you are heartless
with that she walked out from there holding hands with Jun-woo
