Writing a webnovel, need to know if this is good or if I'm delusional lol.
The world: a kingdom ruled only by queens. Every generation, exactly one daughter is born. No exceptions. One prince tried to take the throne from his baby sister once and mysteriously dropped dead. Nobody's tried since.
The girl: Dahlia, crown princes raised half-feral in a forest with a shadow panther that shapeshifts into a regular cat. She gets shipped off to Astravelle Academy, the school every noble kid in the kingdom would kill to attend and she wants to be sorted like a normal student.
Her blood has other plans.
It ripples toward one house. Dims into another.
Headmaster stares at the basin for a full minute before naming her house, a Keeper immediately protests "that's not what it showed—" and gets shut down: "if he says it, it's right, don't question him."
Nobody explains. Class continues. She doesn't even ask.
Meanwhile three kids who've never seen any of this coming have already sworn to avoid her at all costs cause they saw her as the rudest, iciest rich girl they've ever met: They're already failing. roommate. same house. whether they like it or not.
