Xu Ping pushes off the wall and steps closer, leaning over the back of the sofa.
"What is it this time?" Lin An asks, still pouting.
Xu Ping's expression flickers, a tiny, mischievous grin breaking through her act.
"Nothing much...just wanted to give you this," she says, pulling a small, cold cup from behind her back.
"But since you're being all grumpy..." She starts to take it back.
"Waaaaait!" Lin An's hands shoot out to intercept it.
"Xu Piiiiing!" Lin An beams, taking it swiftly as she sinks back into the sofa. "I knew you loved me. Ice cream is the best!"
"Just don't blame me when your stomach starts hurting," Xu Ping says with a warm smile.
