• In the soaring halls of Olympus, clad in white marble and gold, your light footsteps fell almost soundlessly. As a new nymph with hair the color of dawn-spun cotton candy, your presence was a breath of fresh air to the denizens of the heavens. Your beauty was not the ostentatious kind possessed by the magnificent Aphrodite; instead, it was gentle, pure, and captivating—like a flower blooming amidst a storm.
• Your task was simple: to serve nectar and ambrosia to the gods. Yet, in a realm where immortality is a curse, a new beauty is merely prey.
• The Burning Sun
It all began with Apollo. The God of Music and Light first laid eyes on you as you poured nectar into his golden chalice. Apollo, usually consumed by arrogance regarding his own talents, suddenly ceased plucking his lyre. His golden eyes fixed upon your pink hair, then drifted down to your trembling fingers.
• To Apollo, you were a symphony he had yet to compose. He began seeking you out in every corner of the gardens, bathing your path in the warmest sunlight and sending melodies upon the breeze that only you could hear. His obsession grew—slowly, yet lethally. He did not desire you as a servant; he wanted you as his eternal muse, locked away within his temple of light.
• Yet, Olympus had eyes and ears everywhere. Eros, the cunning God of Love, took note of the change in his old rival. Eros had not forgotten the insult Apollo had dealt him centuries ago—when Apollo mocked his archery skills, an act that ultimately led to the tragedy of Daphne.
• Initially, Eros sought only to spoil Apollo’s happiness. He arrived at the great hall, intending to strike you with an arrow of hatred so that you would shun Apollo. Yet, as he watched you from the shadows of a pillar, something unexpected happened. Eros, who usually merely toyed with the loves of others, felt a strange pull.
• Seeing how protective Apollo was of you—how his arm encircled your waist whenever you passed by—made Eros’s blood boil. It was not out of pure love, but a lust to possess what his enemy desired.
"If the sun desires this flower," Eros whispered, caressing his silver bow, "then I shall pluck it and let it wither in my embrace, if only to see him weep."
• The conflict erupted swiftly. Apollo declared you under his protection, forbidding other gods from approaching. In retaliation, Eros cast a stifling mist of passion around the temple where you dwelt, making every step you took heavy with unnatural desire.
• Apollo was incensed. He refused to let the sun set for three days and nights, scorching the earth, all so he could keep watching you in the unceasing light. "She is mine, Eros! I found her first!" Apollo shouted, his voice shaking the heavens as he drew his blade of light.
• Eros laughed—a sharp, cold sound. "Love knows no 'first come, first served,' you show-off. She is my target now. I shall make her dream of my name even while you hold her in your arms."
• They clashed in the sky above. Arrows of light met arrows of desire. The heavens turned blood-red and searing yellow. Thunderstorms raged—not from Zeus's wrath, but because these two gods were tearing at each other over a pink-haired nymph. You were caught in the middle, terrified, as Apollo tried to pull you onto his chariot of light while Eros attempted to drag you into the shadows of his black wings.
• The devastation they wrought was too great to ignore. Mortals on earth perished from the relentless heat, and emotional chaos swept through Olympus. Finally, a massive bolt of blue lightning struck between them.
• Zeus descended from his throne with a fury that could destroy mountains. Beside him, the other gods stood with tense faces.
"ENOUGH!" Zeus' voice boomed. "You behave like children fighting over toys! You destroy the world order for the sake of a nymph?"
• Apollo and Eros stood in front of Zeus, their breaths were ragged, their clothes were torn, but their eyes remained fixed on you who was kneeling on the floor with tears flowing.
"He's not a toy, Father," Apollo growled. "He is my light."
"She is my desire," said Eros in a challenging tone.
• Zeus looked at you, then looked at the two stubborn gods. He knows that if he gives you to one of them, the other will destroy the universe out of spite. And he couldn't kill you, because your beauty had touched his heart too.
"My decision is made," Zeus said, his voice unyielding. "Because you can't act maturely, and because you two are too petty to share willingly... then I order you to (share) by force."
You gasped. Apollo and Eros looked at each other with looks of pure disgust.
"From this day forward," Zeus continued, "This nymph will not belong to any one temple. She will spend equal time between the two of you. If either of you tries to steal her from the other, I will banish you to Tartarus."
Zeus' decision is the beginning of your beautiful hell. You are now joint "property". No more freedom.
• By day, you belong to Apollo. He will take you to the top of the highest mountain, forcing you to sit beside him as he leads the sun. He would stroke your pink hair possessively, whispering promises of boring eternity while glaring at any god who dared to glance at you. "You see this?" Apollo whispered in your ear as he kissed your neck with scorching heat. "The sun is always watching you. You can't run away from me."
• However, when dusk arrives and the sun is forced to set, Eros will emerge from the darkness. He will take you away from Apollo's arms with a cruel smile of victory. Eros is not gentle. He will take you to his hidden palace, where there is only candlelight and the intoxicating scent of roses. He would use his powers to make your heart beat just for him, making you thirst for his touch even as your soul screamed to leave.
“He might have you under the light,” Eros whispered as he locked your wrists with silk chains. "But in the dark, in the place where secrets are kept, you only know me. Tell me my name, little Nymph."
• They will never get along. They will continue to compete through you. If Apollo gave you a gold necklace that cannot be removed, Eros will give you a mark on your skin that cannot be removed. You become a living battlefield for two giant divine egos.
• They do not love you as humans love; they love you like a collector loves the most valuable of rare artifacts. You are caught between the burning sunlight and the piercing arrows of desire, belonging to two mortal enemies who are united in only one thing: the absolute obsession to possess you forever.
