(Phone rings)
Jenny: Whats wrong with you Sam? Its already 3am.
Sam: Baby! I wanna see you! Now! Meet me where we usually use do.
Jenny: Now?! Are you serious? Its cold out. You want me to head out of my house now?
Sam: Babe! Just do as I say.
Jenny:(In the cold at 3:15) Uhhh! What is so important for him to meet me here like this?
(Few minutes later someone showed up in the dark) I hope it is Sam.
Sam:Hey sweetie!
Jenny: What the hell is wrong with you Sam? I've been waiting for you for so long. What took you so long?
Sam: Sorry Jenny! Ok listen... (He paused)
Jenny: What is it Babe?
Sam: I wanna challenge your love...
Jenny: What?! What do you mean by "I wanna challenge your love"?
Sam: I know you love me... But I want to know how much you love me.
Jenny: Means?
Sam: Ok listen... From now on,till next week, you shouldn't try contacting me. No cheating... We are not allowed to meet,talk to each other. Hope you'll win. Won't you?
Jenny: One week??! (Paused) But at one condition.
Sam: Oh com'on you can't.
Jenny: No??? I can!! If you can challenge my love, so do I.
Sam: Okay... What is it?
Jenny: Promise me that after this one week you won't have any other challenges like this and promise me that after this one week we'll always be together.
Sam: (With a small smile on his lips) Sure...
Jenny: Okay bye Sam. Good night... Don't you dare dream about me.
Sam: (Knots)
(Next day morning)
(Alarm rings) Jenny: (In half sleep)Oh stop that Sammy!
(Alarm still rings)
Jenny: Sam!!! (Blinks) Oh no! It was not a dream. I met him last night. He challenged me... How am I gonna get through this whole week without Sam??
I must try callin' him. (Picks her mobile and connects the call) Oh! What am I doing?? If I do this now, Sam will be upset! I shouldn't do this...
(A week later...)
Jenny: (Outside Sam's house ringing the bell) Sammy!!!
(Opens the unlocked door)
Jenny: Baby!!! See... I did it! I did it without you for a week!! Where are you?? Oops!!! (She knocks into a table and shouts) That hurts!
(Finds a letter on the table)
Jenny:(Started sobbing after reading it) No!!!! This can't be this way!!!
What was on the letter??
(Letter says)
Sam: "Hey babe! Congratulations!!! I know you can do it without me!!! You did it without me for a week. Now... You have to do it for the rest of your life without me... You know what? Just before the day I met you last week, An Angel came to me and said that the Heaven is waiting to welcome me... But they can welcome me only when I say bye to this world. Life is really too short. Isn't it? Okay babe! Time for me to say "Bye" to this earth and "Hi'' to Heaven... "Bye babe"
After a month she met one of his friends and came to know that he went through an accident last week and his head was greatly injured... His friend also said her that he had to go through a surgery... But he wanted to meet her before his surgery, but he did not wanted her to know about this. And thats the reason for him to meet you in the dark night... He though he'd be able to get throught this surgery successfully and meet you... But his hope went in vain...
