History repeats itself...

After they had that disagreement, Mark and Sheena didn't have any communication.
Sheena spent her time in school while Mark took care of his mom.
Just like that, a week passed.
...
[Haha,,, seems like that old man is in good mood today. I'll finally have time to relax.]
I was in a good mood and humming a song when I entered the house, but I saw Sheena with a troubled expression while staring at her phone.
[Why is that cheerful girl having a troubled face.]
"Baaaam!" I entered the house slowly then I shouted beside her and she was frightened.
"How long have you been there,mom?" She asked after we both laughed.
" I just came here a while ago and I saw your troubled expression as if the world is going to end. Is there a problem?"I said to her teasingly.
" Mom, what would you do if you saw your first love again. I mean that Roger who was in your album,what if you meet his son?" She asked me with a serious face.
[That album? Why would she ask that?]
" I don't know why you're asking that, but if I saw his son I would take revenge on him." I replied to her with a joke.
"Are you really going to do that?" I saw her sad expression.
" That was a joke, okay! Sheena, is there something you want to tell me?" I said to her when I saw her face.
" Mom, that boy who was with me last time, his name is Mark Oliver and his father is your first love, Roger. His not actually my friend, but my boyfriend."She said to me while looking at the side.
[ So that's why that boy reminds me of that man.]
" So he was actually your boyfriend, why would you say those words that night, he must have been hurt, I even joked that you had an ex boyfriend." I said to her worriedly.
" Mom are you okay with it then. Aren't you're going to be sad, awkward or anything." She said to me as if she was surprised.
" Did you expect me to cry or something...is that the reason why you didn't introduced him to us properly? I'm your mom Sheena, you should have faith in me." I explained to her calmly.
[I might have cried that night, but that was because of the regret I felt when I recalled that we didn't even try to properly talked about our disagreement. Thoughts like: What if I didn't gave in to my pride. What if I didn't let my emotions take over me. What if...]
" But mom , don't you still love that man?" She asked.
"What I feel for him is more of regret.
As for the photo, is it bad to keep it for memories sake just because it's my first love's photo? Don't worry, your dad understands that." I told her.
" Really mom, but what should I do? We had a disagreement and I'm embarrassed to be the first to apologize. Hmmm that's right, it's his fault for talking bad about my mom so he should apologize first." She said while patting her chest as if she's doing justice.
" Sheena , do you love him?[Yes] Can you take it if he dissapears in your life.[ I guess no. It's as if something was missing in my heart when we didn't talk to each other this past week.]. Then that's enough reason to do your best to solve the disagreement between you and him. That's right, why not..." I instructed my daughter what to do.
" Mom, are you sure that will work?" She asked.
" It's more on the effort you made, atleast you can tell yourself that you tried. And your disagreement isn't that big, both of you just need to talk about it." I replied to her then I turned on the TV to relax.
[To think that my daughter would fall in love with his son! [Sigh] Life is really full of unexpected events!]

[For the whole week after I had a fight with Sheena, I stayed with my mom who was ill. Her illness is actually not serious, but because we will only practice basketball at school for an upcoming event, I asked for my coach to let me visit my mom at the province, lying that she is severely Ill.]
After that I went back to the city.
When I was at the school, I asked Sheena to come and watch our practice.
I asked my friends to help me do a surprise so I can properly apologize to her.
When I remember my conversation with dad during my time at the province, the more I realize that his right.
[ Dad, what do you think of Sheena?]
[Well, she resembles her mother very much. Thank goodness that father of his didn't pass on his creepy personality.]
[You already know her parents?]
[Of course, I would be stupid if I still don't realize it. When I heard her last name and when she talks about her parents I knew it was them. After all her father was a friend of mine and her mother was my first love.]
[Then why did you not tell me so that I could atleast have an idea. So did you feel awkward when you meet Sheena, after all she's their daughter? And what happened between the two of you, why did you broke up.]
[Why would I! As for Miya, we had a fight when she said that she will go to the US to study. It was my fault because I forced her to choose between me or going abroad. After she went abroad she sent many letters but I didn't give any reply so she also stopped. After that I fell in love with your mom, then we married and she gave birth to you.]
[Then dad, do you think that I shouldn't introduce myself to Sheena's mom? She said that her mom will be sad and it would be uncomfortable for her mom and you! Because of that we didn't talk with each other for a week.]
[Sad? Uncomfortable? I think Sheena is overthinking things, it's not like we are the ones who will live in a house together. And are you really going to end your relationship for us? You better not because it will make us guilty. And you better solve that problem of yours, unless it's alright for you to lost that girl.]
And so I planned to offer an apology to Sheena at the school.

Mark asked me to watch his practice game and he said that he wanted to tell something.
When I was there I was surprised because I was the only person in the bench area. Normally there would be many hungry dogs ,cough-cough, girls who would cheer for Mark, as if they're going to eat him.[Which I really hate]
When they finished their practice, I saw their coach left first, together with some players.After a while the lights suddenly went off so I tried to find my phone to turn on the flashlight but I remembered that my friend said that he needs to borrow it for a while.
[I'm sorry Sheena ]
The rays of a flashlight was pointed towards these words.
"Sheena, I'm sorry." Someone hugged me from the back.
" For what, Mark." My heart was beating fast so I only said these without thinking.
"For not understanding you. And I didn't accept you apology, because of my pride. I'm sorry!" He said softly.
" It's not your fault, I should have introduced you to my parents that night, It's just that I was afraid of hurting mom."I replied to him.
After that I invited him to come to our house.
"Mom, dad, we're here!" I said when I saw them talking happily at the table.
"What took you so long." Mom replied.
"He really looks like him?" Dad said while looking at Mark.
" Mom, dad, I'd like you to meet Mark, he's my boyfriend!" I said loudly while looking at Mark.
" I already know, your mom told me last night." Dad said with a disinterested voice.
"Just play along, okay!"Mom stared at dad.
" Nice to meet you,Mark." Dad said.
After that, I had a dinner with Mark, except mom and dad because they will eat later on.
"I'm sorry Mark, I should've introduced you earlier." I said to Mark after eating.
" It's okay, I didn't expect you were also planning to surprise me. Thanks Sheena." He said before leaving.
Before going to bed I saw mom and dad talking happily.
" Why would you invite that son of that man here during our anniversay, don't you know you're hurting me, huhuhu." Dad said while pretending to cry.
" It's for your daughter okay. If she didn't do that, their disagreement might have become worse." Mom said while preparing their food.
" Speaking of that guy, I really miss him a little. I wonder what his doing right now?" Dad said with a wistful expression.
In the province where Mark's parent stay.
" You still love her, don't you?" The woman asked the man.
" I have already moved on." The man replied.
" If you have tried to solve that disagreement with Miya, do you think you'll be happier?"
" I might have but I might also not. But Mark should try to solve any conflict he will have with Miya, so that he willn't feel any regrets later on."
