Hi, guys, please check out my story of time travel and fantasy. with your support, i planned to post it biweekly.
"Miss.. miss.." the persistence voice bring back Lulu's focus to her present predicament.
Lifting her head, she saw the maid showing the sweet bluish dress with transparent sleeve and complicated embroidery in strategic place. The epitome of pure and something virginal, really, very pretty and splendid dress for outing with..
"Prince Edward will be thrilled when he saw you wearing this dress..aaahhh..," the maid, Noa, sighed happily with faraway look and lovey dovey eyes.
Oh, yeah, Prince Edward.. Tsk..
Lulu eyeing the distasteful dress, which is so not her. Too bad that her closet was filled to the brim with similarly pure-imaging dress. She has to wear that and meeting the prince.
Prince Edward of ~ MikiMiki Memories: saga~
Why she suddenly wake up one day as the heroine of this game, she has yet the answer.
"Yes, bring it here," she said resignedly.
"Yes, My Lady!" Noa squealing enthusiastically.
Before long, Lulu has arrived at the palace, or rather the small extension of the palace where Prince Edward is. Lulu's hand became sweaty because who wouldn't feel slightest bit nervous meeting royalty, since the setting looks real and very convincing.
Prince Edward from the game is the typical prince charming with sweet disposition. Hopefully they're the same. Someone tall, a bit buff, golden hair and bl...
Lulu stopped in her tracks as she saw Prince Edward across the room.
She quickly gave courtesy, "Greetings, Your Highness."
The Prince stood from his seat and walked closer, slowly closing the distance between them with confident stride and winning smile.
"Stop it, Stella, there's no need for such formalities between us," the baritone voice held delight and warmth.
Lulu barely lifted her eyes, watching the royalty. Her fingers, hidden between the fold became more and more sweaty. Staffs standing near the prince's desk only watching silently with fond smiles.
"I'll take a break, all of you can leave us," Prince Edward said without taking his eyes off of the black haired beauty in front of him.
"Yes, Your Highness," the staff replied before walking out of the room.
"Come, Stella," Prince Edward took Lulu's hand and lead her to the seating for guest.
"Look, I've prepared your favourite chrysant tea," the man himself pouring the teacup and gave it to Lulu.
"Yes, thank you, Your Highness," Lulu said for lack of words.
Silence finally descend on the room after Prince Edward pouring tea for himself.
The man has personally invited Stella, the heroine of simulation game that Lulu played many times in the past, so it was likely that Stella will be invited on his upcoming birthday party next. The next event will be Prince Edward birthday party, of course, Lulu sighed.
For many games that she had played, to suddenly wake up one day as the heroine of the most boring simulation game she ever played. Why can't it be one of the most recent ones with better graphic and twist. Lulu sighed again.
Low chuckle beside her, snapped Lulu out of her mind.
"And here I thought that you will be interested in drinking tea with me. I didn't know that I've become such a bore," the green eyes twinkled merrily despite his sullen words.
Lulu's reply was held back at the Prince's eyes. It was emerald green instead of baby blue. She remember it because she's been so into Prince Charming at that time.
"That's not true... It's only because I.." Lulu looked around the room for inspiration. "I've been nervous," She replied with weak smile.
"Then, why don't you call me by name since there's only the two of us? I want to know more about you."
Prince Edward's last sentence sounds strange to Lulu. In the game, Stella was childhood friend with Prince Edward and Sir Crouge, son from ducal family. Later she met Court Magician, A Knight, and young merchant.
The Prince in front of her suddenly sneering, the gentle smile wiped into one ugly twisted expression.
The sudden change surprised Lulu who instinctively leaned away but one of free hand was snatched by The Prince. Lulu couldn't move even if she wanted to.
"Who are you?! Dare to try to impersonating Stella?!" Prince Edward seething menacingly.
"I'm sorry! I don't know either!! When I wake up, I'm already here!!" Lulu put the hot tea so it won't spill.
"And you expect me to believe such blatant lie??!!" the man twisting Lulu's arm roughly, Lulu screamed.
"What's wrong with you?!! It hurts!! Let Go!!"
"You're what is wrong!!"
"I don't know!! I really don't know!! I suddenly wake up one day like this!!"
Cornered, Lulu tried to pried of the big hand off her but it's no use because Prince Edward's far stronger than he looked.
Lulu kicked him instead, or rather tried to kick Prince Edward but her loose shoe successfully landed a lucky hit on The Prince's side face.
Surprised, Prince Edward loosened his grip and the black haired woman with Stella face suddenly stand across the room.
"Don't you have manner, suddenly attacking girl like a rabid d0g?! I'm innocent!! I don't even like you!!"
"And you expecting me to believe that lie?"
"What's in it for me if I lie?! This medieval setting, although the dress looked pretty it actually weight tons, stuffy and uncomfortable, not to mention the toilet!! Uurgh, i..Uurg!! What I wouldn't give to get back to my own life?! There's no internet.. No electricity.. No buses.. No.. None.." Lulu lamented.
Lulu's last statement, along with her reddening face was what made Prince Edward paused in his pursue. The strange words that she said, things Edward unfamiliar with.
"I can't help it that I'm not Stella and that you disappointed greatly. It's not that I have choice either. If you're yet engaged to Stella, you could break it off."
Took a deep breath, Prince Edward thought about the whole situation in new light.
Prince Edward stop to think, because while it is possible that Stella playing prank with him, there still remain the tiniest chance that Stella's body being possessed by another spirit.
"Then who are you?" Prince Edward lifted his head, staring straight at the black haired girl.
Taking a few long breath, Lulu looked at the Prince straight in the eye.
"I'm Luthiania la Emperouge, you may call me Lulu," Lulu said while standing aggressively, her chin high with violet eyes half closed arrogantly.
Either Stella is great actress or she really is possessed by Lulu, Prince Edward thought because never once in his life people dare to look down their nose on him. But no one suddenly changed their personality overnight, so The Prince decided to get along for the time being.
"Fine, then, Luthiania," Prince Edward began.
"Lulu," Lulu interrupted.
"Say that it is improper to suddenly cut ties without reason to our family. Let us planning carefully how to break clean without shaming both of our family."
Lulu smiled at the proposal. What's the point of suddenly entering the game world and not take full advantage of her position.
The Prince has good look, his personality is the most boring in the game. a boring vanilla. "Sure, Highness," Lulu replied confidently.
"But, in the meantime, if Stella appear or you changed your mind, I will not let it go easily," Prince Edward's voice ended with an almost growl.
"Don't worry, Your Highness. You may come up with contract or something. I've waited for 5 days but Stella didn't appear. Please believe me when I say I'd rather Stella here instead of me."
Short after their chaotic conversation, Stella, or Lulu, left the room after taking a sip of the flower tea which is the most bizzare thing so far.
"Oh, God... she really is not Stella," Prince Edward murmured while staring at the harmless cups.
It was their inner joke between him and Stella, where he often made tea that she dislikes. Never once did Stella took sip of Chrysant tea, no mater how thirsty she was. She either laugh it off or pouting whenever Prince Edward point it out.
But never a sip.
Meanwhile, Lulu thinking hard about how she could change the content of her entire closet without spending too much money. Stella's family is a Count with medium fortune and it is considered shameful for noble to engage in trade. Perhaps its time she looks into the young merchant route for free items.
