This was not expected. She really cannot imagine herself being in that situation. She has to act like his wife!!!

Haneul, is a normal girl who works at a multimillionaire company, and Ji hyun, the owner of that very company. They had no spark between them, and the relationship between them was nothing but a boss and employee.
One day, Jihyun had a meeting with one of top 5 companies in Russia, and was successful only because of Haneul. If Haneul failed to present, then the deal might have not been striked. He felt really thankful towards her and was on way to his home.
He informed to his mother about his success, and also mentioned about Haneul. She too, felt thankful towards Haneul. She wanted to meet her. To celebrate the success, he decided to hold a party. Haneul too felt happy, and on her way to home, she got a call. She wasn't happy anymore. The smile in her face dropped. Her mother was diagnosed with cancer!!
She had no one except her mom in this world, and didn't even have any money for the medical treatment. She had no other way except to borrow some.
She asked every person she knew, but everyone backed off. It felt like her world was collapsing.
She didn't eat that whole day...
The next week, she got a call from an unknown number.
"*Um...hello?"
"yes,"
"Am I speaking to Ms. Kang Haneul right now?"
"yes, I'm Haneul. may I know who is this?"
"Oh! I'm Mrs. Lee Mina, Jihyun's mother."
"You mean Lee Jihyun? tge CEO of Lee technologies?!"
"yes"
"Oh, nice talking to you madam. May I know the reason behind your call?"
"Uh..yes..Can you come to the City hospital right now dear?"
" Oh sure ma'am*!" she said, not knowing why she called her, and left.
She entered the hospital, and found Mrs.Mina. she did not look alright, was sweating and her eyes showed fear, and were searching someone. It was like she was looking for someone for a long time.
Once Haneul showed up, she ran towards her, held her hands, and dragged her towards a room.
There, she saw her boss, Jihyun resting on the bed wearing a patient's clothes. There were few bandages wrapped around his head, and his face had a few scars. Haneul asked his mother about the matter, and it turned out that he met with an accident exactly a week ago! That day when the deal was successful, that day when Haneul came to know that her mother suffered from cancer.That very day.
But one thing was not right. Why would his mother call Haneul if he met with an accident? She was not even his secretary, and had no idea what happened that day.There was nothing to interrogate or do with her. Why did she call her? To know the reason, she asked Mina.
"Ma'am, I know you must not be okay after what happened to your one and only son. But I myself don't know what happened that day, and it has nothing to do with me. May I know why you called me here?"
Mina was silent. She didn't know how to say.
She was hesitating, and her eyes were wavering. And Haneul there, was standing there, waiting for an answer.
" child, you have no connection with this mishap, and I know it...the reason why I called you is different...I actually need help from you..." she stuttered at every word she spoke.
Haneul had thousands of questions running on her mind right now. Why should she call her for help? they are rich, and even own a successful multinational company. They could ask help from anyone but her? She decided to ask her about the help first, and yhen the reason behind it.
"may I know what help it is?"
" you...you..." Mina stuttered, and was unable to meet her eyes, and replied,
"you have to pretend as his wife." she said, at one go.
Haneul gasped, and rubbed her eyes to confirm that it was reality. She could neither believe nor understand what she was saying.
"W-what?! no way!! why should I do? "
"Dear, I'm so sorry...I have no way except to ask help from you...If I ever had a choice, why would I ask you? I would have hired an actress, but now, no one can do it other than you...please don't refuse...It is about my son's life..."
"I don't get it.."
Mina took a deep breath, and spoke
" That day, while he was on his way to home,he was happy. He was thinking of you probably... even when he was talking with me on the phone, he mentioned about you, and how you were the reason of the deal success , and wanted to rise your pay...not even a while after,
met with an accident..." She said, with her eyes welling up, and her voice breaking. She continued
The moment he met with an accident, one of our known ones admitted him here, he was operated, and a week after, he opened his eyes.
The first word he uttered was your name. He kept saying your name. We didn't understand it first, but after a few days, when he fully regained consciousness, what he asked was you. He was looking for you. When I asked who you were, he said that you were his wife... at first, I even believed his words, but after when the doctor spoke to me, I came to know that it was all because of his head injury. even the doctor said that it was his first time seeing a case like this...
If he was exposed to the truth, it might lead to his death..." she said, with her gaze down.
Haneul, felt sad for him, and also for herself, and didn't know what to say. She paused for a moment and asked
"how long will it take to recover?"
"I don't know...but I wish he'd regain his memory soon... but till then, you are my only ray of hope...please don't refuse..."
Haneul was not convinced, and was about to say no, but stopped when the lady said something.
"I know you are in need of money for your mother's health, and I'm ready to help you... I can take care of your mother's health expenses, until she gets fully recovers only if you are willing to help me..."
Haneul gave it a thought for a second, and accepted her offer. She felt sorry for her boss, but was relieved about her mother.
She looked inside through the door, at her boss who was sleeping peacefully. She mouthed a sorry, and was standing there with his mother, trying to accept whatever is going to happen.
