Irene woke up in the morning of a Sunday. Then someone suddenly called her. It was an unknown number. Irene answered the call, "Hello, is this Miss Irene Ulitime?" "Um, yes?" "I am from The Hospital, do you know someone named Mister Aaron Alufa?"
"Err, yes. He is a friend of mine." "Can you come here immediately? He had an accident." Irene was shocked and hurriedly get out of bed. She brushes her teeth and puts on her dress. She grabbed her bag and went to get the car keys. She then headed to The Hospital.
At The Hospital...
"Excuse me, where is Aaron Alufa's room, please? A staff of yours called me and said that he had an accident." "You are Miss Irene?" "Yes." "I'm the one that called you, please follow me." "Okay."
A while later...
The nurse opened Aaron's room's door. Irene saw Aaron lying on the bed and rushed to him. "Aaron? Are you okay? It's me, Irene." Aaron opened his eyes and saw her. "Irene, sorry about this. I-- I didn't see the van coming, it was a greenlight but--" "Shhhh, save it. Just hang in there, okay?" "I'm so sorry, I am so reckless driving without cautious. I'm so stu-- *coughs* stupid." "I told you to save it. Here have some water."
"Miss Irene, it said here in the report that it was a hit and run. And the culprit is still not found. I'm very sorry about that." said the nurse. "It's okay. Aaron, rest and get well soon, okay--" suddenly, the heart rate machine started beeping rapidly. "Aaron? Aaron!" "We need a doctor here! Doctor!" "Li-- Listen to me, Irene. Don't mourn my death, don't cry so hard, in my-- last moments, all I want is to just see you smile. I-- I lo-- I love you..." Irene was really shocked by this sudden situation. Her brain can't handle too much information, she felt like her brain was about to explode, but she doesn't have much time left, "Aaron, I am really shocked about this news. And I didn't even have time to take a bath because of this."
"I love you too, rest in peace, my darling..." Aaron smiled and said, "I wish I could marry you first. But I guess, time wouldn't let-- *coughs* me. I am so-- sorry, Irene..." Aaron smiled again as he let out his final breath.
"I guess I'll miss you, Aaron..." Irene cried again.
