“Come on, let us play again. I’ll kick your butt this time and win!” Trevor laughed as we spoke through our SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless headphones and we challenged each other for hours and not once could he beat me, the best Fortnite player there possibly is.
I laugh, “Beat me?? Hahaha!!! In your dreams Trev, you can’t beat the King Of Fortnite.” I spoke.
“You are a girl, how can you be ‘a king’?” he said teasingly. “Because king sounds better than queen.” I responded, as we both laughed.
“Okay, let’s play , you know I will never say no to a game to beat you. Wait one minute let me get my other controller this one has little charger.” I said as I walked towards my backup controller as the storm outside worsened.
The place suddenly shook and an electric wave of purple beams covered the entire atmosphere. Everything had a purple colour. “What’s going on?” I though. Then everything transformed into a cartoon, similar to the one on my game.
I looked at my hand, then found a reflection, I look exactly like headhunter in my most wanted skin; blaze. “oh my god!” I shouted “ what the hell is going on?” then I heard someone at my door. I opened it and in a distance I noticed two people side by side shooting andthen collecting someone else's valuables. “ this must be the craziest thing that ever happened to me but I can’t think of how this happened right now! I have a game to win.” I said to myself as an axe appeared in my hand.
I smirked as I looked at the axe. I looked around the room for any valuable stuff that I can use. And there is was, my sniper. I took it and destroyed my bedroom wall with the axe.
Then I saw my partner....no way it could be Trevor. He ran up to me. "Safa?" is that you he said with disbelief. I replied with a simple yes. "Do you know how this happened?" I asked hoping he might have some clue as to what is going on.
"No....but I remember that Epic games was trying to release a new game version today. Do you think it had something to do with that?" he said with uncertainty.
"We can't worry about that right now." I said, changing the subject. "We have a game to win." I continued with a smirk. He looked at me with the gamer eyes and replied with "let's go!"
The game continued......21 people remainding.
"I am going to hide, you go kill people like crazy...I have your back, trust me." I said with certainty. "it's the only way to draw them out while I kill them"
He looked at me and said "You better make sure I live or else I'm coming for you after." and he left. and me being me, I laughed.
They came in pairs, one by one and tried to kill my partner. No way they could do it, I killed them all. then I saw unknown bullets coming from an unknown direction.
I notified Trevor to hide, and he did so gladly. I scanned, from my hiden place for the other sniper, and there he was, scanning for me. I took my aim and he was dead.
We won, this was possible the first game Trevor ever one; I'd never allow him to play with me. Then we mysteriously transformed into humans again. With real blood and skin and my beautiful hair and my feet, I can see my feet...
Then I blinked my eyes, and I found myself on my bed, slowly sitting up. "What’s going on?" I thought to myself and then everything came back to my memory. "Hey sweetheart, you're awake." my mom said.
I scanned her and then told her my entire adventure, but she didn't believe me. "I think you have been playing to much on that gift your father bought for you." she chuckled as she smiled.
I shook it of for the time being, when Trevor called. "hello-" I was about to say. "Tell me that it wasn't a dream...we really where inside the game weren't we?" I laughed and screamed yes.
Though I knew that no one would believe me, I smiled at that thought, it was the best think that happened to me.
