I had strayed from your side.
Felt left behind.
No one knew I was breaking inside.
I had been subdued.
And was a fool.
To have thought I could do this without you.
And I learned so much that day.
The day you rescued me.
I’ve realized you’re the only key.
And I need you to ignite me.
And set me on your fire.
To never let me go free again.
Keep me within your arms.
And help me through these dark times of mine.
‘Cause I’m drowning in my mind.
So lead me to your heart.
I’m ready for you now.
Ignite me.
I had blocked you out and let you down.
I shut you out of my head.
I don’t know why you even stay.
My mind was such a mess.
But you watched me fall.
And helped me up.
You always call when something’s wrong.
