The apartment was dark and silent. The clock on the wall informed you that time was still running. The light from the moon shined through the window and on the bed.
You slowly stroke your fingers over his lower arm and felt how he shivered.
"Y/n?" he asked.
You looked up at him with a smile forming on your lips. He was half sitting up against the bed, his blonde hair tied partially. He had a weak smile while his eyes were focused on you.
"Yes?"
His smile became wider now as he started to run his fingers through your hair. You closed your eyes in enjoyment. His other hand was on your waist, stroking it gently. His naked upper body was warm and had sent heat over yours. You love it when he looks like this. No shirt, only sweatpants, a bit messy hair and a soft look on his face making you want to just cuddle with him for weeks.
"Y/n, I love you"
You opened your eyes, a bit shocked because of his sudden words, "What?"
You sat up and looked at him. A smile was still carved on his lips.
"You heard me. I love you"
His smile didn't disappear neither did he blush. He was very confident in his words.
"I heard you, Kozume, but I didn't expect you to say it out of the blue."
He laughed and pulled you down towards him, "Kitten, we've been dating for four years already, can't I do that?"
You sighed happily, "Ofcourse you can"
He let out a soft chuckle before pressing his lips on your forehead, "Also, I felt like doing it. It's already midnight and us laying here with each other's company, I thought an I love you would fit perfectly."
You nodded, "It did"
He rubbed his nose against yours. You giggled because of that while positioning yourself to lay on his chest. He started to hum on a song that you quickly recognized.
"Stargazing?"
He smiled and nodded. You packed your lips before starting to hum too. You closed your eyes and found yourself relaxing even more with the help of the gentle kisses Kenma has been planting on your head.
