It was raining hard. I am sitting in a bench together with a crying girl. Her tears were like diamonds falling through her porcelain-like cheeks.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't ta-talk to strangers."
I talked her again and again and still ignored my words. I am nobody. I should have known it from the start. A girl like her will never talk to me. I'll be saying my farewell.
"The rain stopped."
She paused for a minute and looked at me.
"What's that got to do with me?"
"Well you see. There's always a rainbow after the rain, right?" and I gave her a nice smile.
"Seems like rainbows doesn't even appear in my life."
"Ow, really?"
"Uhm..."
"Because for me, you're the most beautiful rainbow today?"
She stopped crying and wiped her tears.
"No, that's not true. You're my rainbow today, mister."
"Were the same age, you know. We go to the same school."
"Really? Let's be friends then!"
"I humbly refuse."
"W-why? Am I ugly?"
"Nope, I don't want to be friends with you."
"Wh-why is that?"
"Because I want you to be mine."
