"You seem to be thinking deeply. I might drown in that" I was shocked to look at the person who was now sitting next to me.
I am not familiar with the owner of that voice. I also can't see its face because it's Side view. I hovered when I saw that he was wearing jogging pants and a black hooded jacket that now covered half of his face.
“I might melt" shelaughed softly.
"W-Wait, who are you? And why did you sir next to me?" I frowned and wiped away my tears and asked him violently as I walked away from him a few feet away.
He just ignored my question and confronted me. Even though it was dark, I could feel its eyes as if they were as deep as the sea.
"I don't know why you're sad. Someone like you shouldn't be made to cry" he whispered softly.
I even saw him smile at me and look at the sea again.
"Why do you care? I don't even know you, why are you talking to me? Who are you?" I stood up in disgust but he stopped me immediately.
"Me? I'm the only one who will be your future boyfriend" was his windy answer.
"Wow, it's so windy here" I stared at it even though I wasn't sure he saw it.
He probably laughed at my speaker "So, care to share your problem"
"Shut up. Mind your own business" I irritated answer again.
"Oh, so fierce btw I'm Mr. handsome at your service" he addressed me and held out his hand.
Even reluctantly, I accepted it. "I need to leave" but I also quickly pulled it back when I feel the electricity and I was ready to stand up but he stopped me again.
"Wait a minute, do you believe in destiny?" He asked.
"No." my false answer
"I'm not either, but when I met you ... Suddenly my belief changed" he said naughtily while dancing sitting as if he was thrilled with his own stretch.
"Tse, you look like a salted worm. Stop and it doesn't matter to you"
"Haha admit it, I making you smile right?"
I took a deep breath before I asked it "Hmm, is it normal to repeatedly drown oneself out of sadness and tiredness?"
"Of course not, you might die crazy"
I sat down again when he pulled my hand. We talked for about 2 hours. We even watch the sun rising above us while talking and laughing.
We enjoy the day and I guess he’s not a bad person. I can feel my self being happy with him but sadly, I suddenly feel the pain at my chest when he never came before the day I leave.
The day has come when I need to go home at my hometown. I’d never met that guy again. It’s been 6 months since then.
I closed my eyes and feel the breeze. At the same time my hair danced to the sound of the waves. It's been 6 months since I got a vacation here. We got along well again, as did my father's health. The formerly dilapidated store we have relocated. I have also built a clinic near the town. Every week I volunteer in our brgy to check on the health of the people.
In those two six I was happy again, but there is still something missing to this day. Every night it does not put me to sleep because it visits me in my dream.
"Son, come outside. They're starting to have fun" I quickly turned to my father who was now in my room.
"Yes, I'll be right next" I looked at it weakly before facing the sea again.
"Come on son, there is also a surprise waiting for you"
"Surprise? It's not my even birthday?" I got confused and quickly picked up the book I had been reading earlier.
"Just, I know you'll be happy" he smiled at me while we taking our steps
At the same time, we made our way to the rented cottages, here we also had other relatives, so there were many of us. After all, it was summer, so we thought of wandering around here in Aurora.
As I approached, I heard their shouts and laughter, their voices were full of joy but I was stopped when my chest began to throb.
"This is familiar" I said
"The hero is already there!" Someone yelled loudly while flirting with one of my cousins.
They all laughed because of what he said but I just stopped walking when I noticed a man who was now staring at me with a big smile on his face.
*Dugdug**Dugdug*
"Hey, it's not okay to stare at Jacob, he might melt!"
"J-jacob?" I whispered when I heard his name.
I walked heavily towards them as they greeted me with a mocking smile.
"Hey, the gabbage looks like it's going to be watered" My friend shouted loudly so I couldn't stop myself from slapping the book I was holding in her mouth.
"RICARDO, STOP PESTERING MICHAEL, IF THE PLAN FAILS YOU WILL BE THE ONE I WILL WATER THERE!" Simoun shouted loudly who is now running to my friend.
What he said seemed to be effective because the gay man was upset and seemed to be sick of what he heard.
"All right, approach your guest" my father kissed me on the forehead before leaving me.
Though nervous and tender, I approached the man who had been staring at me.
"U-uhmm, Hi" I bite my lip as I talk to him.
I stared into his deep blue eyes, even with his face covered I was sure it was him.
"Hi, miss me?" this soft answer that the hopes behind me shouted.
My eyes widened as I looked at my relatives who were now surrounding at my back.
I quickly faced them and widened my eyes.
I pulled Jacob away so they won’t tease us.
I took Jacob next to a cottage a bit far from them. I noticed that he was staring at my hand and I just noticed that we were holding hands. I was about to remove it the more he covered it the more my eyes widened.
"Much better," he smiled in response and suddenly hugged me very tightly.
I reciprocated his hug and when he was about to kiss me, the plastic knife that my father was holding now suddenly entered.
"Really, Maybe you haven't forgotten what we talked about?" my father's threatening answer as his eyes rolled.
We laughed when my uncle suddenly pulled my father away. Jacob hugged me again while watching our family now having fun.
Until now I'm still wondering how he closed my family but I just ignored it because everything is fine.
For the first time we also told each other how we really felt.
