This story was told to me by my mother which happened to my Grandma. So its not my own story but its also the only story happened in my family that's surely paranormal, not a hallucination. But still I'd like to say, its just a story I'm sharing. I'm not trying to spread any superstition or anything.
So let's come to the story. My mom is a very normal girl from a village of India. So this story happened when my mom was 13/14. As every Indian family, my mother's family was also used to be a huge join family living ina huge house. Behind the house there was big tamarind tree.
It was a Sunday. Grandma used to take tamarinds from the tree behind their house for cooking sour things. That day too she went to take tamarind from the tree but then saw the branches were too high. The lower branches were almost empty. So she decided to cut down a weak brach a little higher which had quite a lot number of tamarind hanging from them to get them all together, in case she doesn't have to come more regularly. So she went with a chair and cutter to cut it. But after she returned everything seemed changed.
My mom told me that after grandma returned her attitude, her styles, even her voice seemed changed. She looked all silent and expressionless but her eyes were looking creepy. Her stare wasn't like before. Her voice was all hoarse and scary. After she returned she suddenly announced in front of everyone that she couldn't cook that day. Everyone was very shocked at the change of her attitude. Like some seconds ago she went outside to take tamarind and the next moment she returned she was behaving unnaturally. But still everyone just ignored thinking maybe she wasn't feeling good and let her take rest.
But after that incident she refused to eat or drink or bath or anything. Literally she didn't even went washroom FOR SEVEN DAYS. My mom says she and her siblings were scared and shocked to their core seeing their mother like that. She was in same clothes and sitting in same style inside a room for SEVEN WHOLE DAYS. She didn't eat or drink anything for seven days. Nobody could make her to do anything else.
Mom said that she was sitting on the floor forwarding her legs straight and was moving forward and backward continuously. Whenever someone called her by her name, she clearly denied the fact that she wasn't her and her real name was "NEELA".
Now everyone started to get scared as there was a woman called NEELA in that village who just died somedays ago. They got sure about the fact that she was being possessed by ghost. They went to an Exorcist who finally prepared for the most horrible thing my mom saw in her life till now, EXORCISM.
I obviously don't know the process of exorcism. I just know that she was being seated on the lawn in front of their house in broad daylight where the exorcism was held. The Exorcist asked about her identity and she continuously claimed that she was the woman called NEELA who died few days ago. She also claimed that her soul was roaming around the tree and my grandma accidentally hurt her that's why she possessed her. And all those things were being heard and witnessed by my mom and others.
Later the Exorcist gently requested her to leave her body. She agreed but in exchange of something, a flower. After throwing a marie gold towards my grandma it suddenly jumped in the air and started to float away from her body like someone invisible was flying away with the marie gold and my grandma lost her sense.
After that incident when grandma woke up, she still remembered till the moment she went towards the tamarind tree. She couldn't remember anything else. Due to starving without water her body was really weak but slowly she recovered.
So that was the story guys. Its definitely not as horrible as those exorcism shown in Hollywood movies and I also don't know how I explained this but you can just imagine how horrible it can be to witness even a small exorcism where someone was doing unbelievable things. I know maximum people don't believe in this but still I believe. I don't think anyone can starve themselves for seven days or the flower that float away in air was flase. Its just believe guys. I believe it and no problem if you don't.
